“They have a good, knowledgeable team. I have been going for my shoulder and it is much better. I like that they use a well rounded approach and it is no just giving you excercises to do. They apply different techniques like laser, acupunture and others.”

“I tore my ACL on July 6th, 2024, and since then I’ve been working with Vini at Physiocan. She supported me both pre- and post-surgery (October 1st), and thanks to her guidance I was able to return to my sport with confidence and comfort. With the incredible support of Vini, Sherrif, and the whole Physiocan team, I’ve made unbelievable progress, so much so that I earned a Division II soccer offer from a university in Florida. “I can’t thank Vini at Physiocan enough for her incredible work with my daughter before and after her ACL surgery. My daughter suffered one of the most devastating injuries for a competitive athlete — a complete ACL tear, partial MCL, PCL, and LCL tears, plus a knee bone fracture. From day one, owner Sherif assured us we were in the best hands with Vini, and he was right. She worked with my daughter multiple times a week pre-surgery, knowing how crucial pre-op physio is. Unfortunately, after surgery, we followed the surgeon’s referral to another clinic — a huge mistake. Six months later, struggling to regain full extension, we returned to Vini. In under two months, she had my daughter back on the field, ready to play for her varsity university team in Florida. Vini used every tool — Graston, laser, acupuncture, shockwave, manual therapy, and a targeted exercise program — to get her there. “My husband Mark and I have been going to Sherif for all of our physio needs since he first opened his practice in Bowmanville. We currently go to his Newcastle location, as its closer for us. We appreciate the clean and welcoming environment and have nothing but positive things to say about the excellent treatment we have always received. We have grown accustomed to experiencing quick relief from whatever aches and pains are ailing us and highly recommend Sherif for anyone needing physiotherapy. He takes pride in utilizing the most current methods and state of the art equipment. Recently, our youngest daughter was 3 weeks out from a trip to Europe and was dealing with foot pain from plantar fasciitis. She was concerned about the amount of walking she would be doing, and sought treatment from Sherif leading up to her departure. She was able to walk almost 20,000 footsteps daily during her trip, pain free and since being home, continues to have no issues. Our other daughter, her husband, my mother and numerous friends have benefited from Sherif's excellent care and we highly recommend him to anyone needing a physiotherapist.
