“The team at Peninsula Physiotherapy in Wiarton are exceptional! I first went to see them after seeing a sports medicine specialist about my painful knees. Fast forward to today and I am recovering very well after necessary knee surgery. Rick was an integral part of my journey over the last two years to assist me in strengthening my muscles and educating me about my health prior to seeing the surgeon. I cannot thank Rick enough for ensuring I stuck to the exercises and stayed active despite the pain in my knees. My future looks bright now and I am looking forward to a very active life without pain! “I only have great things to say about Rick and the Peninsula Physiotherapy team. I have been dealing with knee pain for 8 years, have had 2 surgeries, and seen multiple physiotherapists. It wasn’t until I came here that I have had major improvement with the pain I experienced daily (note I am in my early 20’s so daily pain for years was difficult and impacted my life significantly). Rick used acupuncture, suction cups, TENS machine, along with appropriate exercises to help me while other physiotherapist just used exercises that were unrealistic for me to complete due to limitations I experienced from the injury. “I went to Peninsula Physiotherapy for a torn meniscus/sciatica pain. I had Jason's expertise over a few sessions helping me get back into much better shape. All the staff are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Jason was very attentive during my recovery asking me several times during my sessions how I felt given the specific exercises I was doing. Rick is very friendly as well. “I can’t believe how quickly I was healed from the injuries I suffered in a car crash. Rick has extensive knowledge and experience and worked on my fractured ribs, whiplash and foot injury with several skilled techniques including accupuncture, electro massage and even some chiropractic hands on stretching.
