“I had to make an emergency appointment to the Centre because I started seeing flashes in the periphery of my vision. Since I have already had retinal tears, it was worrisome. Dr Wallace was able to accommodate me, even though I was taking a ferry from Pender Island. She was thorough and methodical. She took a number of images, as the issue was hard to pinpoint. When it wasn't clear whether it as a PVD or a retinal tear she referred me to the ophthalmologist on call in Vancouver at the eye centre/retina centre. I'm grateful to Dr Wallace for her understanding, her commitment and thoroughness. I felt well cared for there.”Read moreShow less

“I had a very thorough annual exam wherein the doctor compared my previous year's films with today's and noted that there weren't any major differences. Whew!! And for the new music glasses I am desperate for, a very kind man showed me some fabulous frames that were originally way beyond my budget but now on sale for an extremely reasonable price - Wow!! “My daughter and I see Dr. Wallace and she is absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked in, she was so kind, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. It was my daughter’s very first eye exam, and Dr. Wallace made the whole experience fun, comfortable, and even exciting for her. “A great place for eye care. Friendly, efficient and well trained staff. My optometrist is informative and reassuring and any questions are fully discussed. The appointment goes quickly with no long waits. My glasses are always well fitted and the lenses perfect for my vision issues . I can drop by anytime to have my frames adjusted if needed. “From the minute you walk in you are taken care of. The staff is fabulous. They have so many machines that l feel like l get a very thorough professional examination about the health of my eyes.
