For existing clients, you’ll be prompted to re-enter your credit card the next time you book as part of a payment system update.
CANCELLATION POLICY : Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the counsellors’ day that could have been filled by another client. As such, we require 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 48 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged the full session fee (which we really don’t like doing!). We know life is busy which is why we’ll send an email reminder 3 days before your appointment so you have the option to change it prior to our 48 hour cancellation time. We also offer virtual sessions through video conferencing- please contact us (604-682-PEAK) for more details. Thanks so much for your understanding and please feel free to chat with your counsellor if you have any questions.
Please note : Insurance companies do not reimburse missed appointment or late cancellation fees. These charges remain the client’s responsibility and cannot be submitted for reimbursement.
ONLINE BOOKING: All new accounts require a credit card in order to book an initial session using online booking. If you don’t have access to a credit card, please contact 604-682-PEAK (7325) to book your session.
FOR DAY OF BOOKINGS: To book sessions for today, please do not hesitate to contact the clinic (admin@peak-resilience.com/ 604-682-7325) or reach out to the counsellor directly via their email . Reaching out to the counsellor may get you a quicker response so this is recommended for urgent bookings or bookings requested outside of admin hours (Mon-Fri 10am-6:30pm).

“I was looking for a therapist when I came across their website through Psychology Today. The introduction of the psychologist was convincing, and I felt that I could be heard and seen by them. In the beginning, it seemed like it was helping, but over time I noticed a pattern: at the end of every session, my therapist (SB) would say we would follow up, but we never did. The main focus seemed to be on booking the next session each time. The responses became repetitive — mostly “yeah” and “hmm” with some empathy added. At one point, I asked a simple question about whether setting a specific boundary was a good idea, and the response was, “I don’t know, we’ll discuss this in the next session,” which again never happened. I left feedback with the receptionist, who kindly offered me the option of seeing another therapist or having a monitored session. However, I didn’t feel this would make a difference. The trust was already gone because I couldn’t tell if the next therapist would also just focus on booking sessions to get paid. In the end, it felt like it was more about money than helping me. The receptionist was helpful, and I appreciate that she listened to my feedback.”Read moreShow less

“I worked with Amy in her private practice before she joined Peak Resilience, but still wanted to leave a review here specifically for her. Working with Amy felt like being met exactly where I was—no pressure, no performance. Her presence is incredibly safe, gentle, and grounding. She knows how to hold space for hard things without making them feel too heavy. She trusted my pace, which helped me begin trusting myself too. I always left feeling more connected to myself—and more human. As someone with attachment wounds, Amy remains one of the few guides I’ve had in my life who was a steady, kind voice I felt I could lean into.”Read moreShow less

“I started working with Jennifer before peak resilience’s inception. With her help I have achieved goals I never believed possible given my PTSD. As she has shifted her focus to her role as director, I have begun seeing Heather. I am amazed by the warmth, kindness and safety I feel from both of these fantastic women. As a long term patient this self investment has been a key factor in who I am today.”Read moreShow less
