“Would rate lower if I could. Reception is less than helpful. It is a walk-in only in name. Don't expect to get in unless you make a very early appointment.”

“Some people might feel rushed, but there are not enough doctors so they each need to see as many people a day as possible. Perhaps that makes it seem less personal but the trade off would be people not being able to see a doctor at all, which is worse.”

“Im pretty surprised with their poor reviews. Yes, there's a lot of people trying to get a family doctor and its frustrating. High demand generally equates to "wasted time" but whats the alternative?.... My multiple visits were quick and clearly as good as they can, usually overworked and understaffed. In my opinion its like a weeding out process that seems necessary to keep priorities first. If you won't go to the clinic an hour early you probably won't be seen. That sucks but not life or death. If unwilling do you believe you need your spot more than the people around you? Dont exhaust resources unless it's needed. Im old school I guess.”Read moreShow less

“I never leave ratings but thought I should. This review is for Dr. Stephan Samoyloff. If you go into emergency in Penticton, hope that this doctor isn't assigned to you. If he is I would recommend asking for another doctor. I have already been diagnosed with a dental infection by another dr, 4 days later on antibiotics I feel worse. I went to see this doctor in emergency because I feel the infection is spreading. He said he doesn't know if it's bacterial or viral but refused to run tests. He said if it is bacterial, I'm the best antibiotic for it. I asked him to try a different antibiotic because I felt like this one isn't working and explained that I've had numerous dental infections over the last 2 years and have been prescribed this antibiotic before, and asked if it's possible that the bacteria has immunity to this antibiotic. He said it's not possible. I know that's not true. He told me after that he thinks I have a viral infection even though I already have been diagnosed by another more competent doctor. He was completely dismissive through our entire conversation. He continued to cut me off multiple times and asked me to stop what I'm saying in the middle of my sentence. I saw another comment where he obviously did the same thing to another person. His bedside manner is awful. It doesn't seem like he wants to help anyone. I asked for blood test and he blatantly refused and then when I asked for another doctor he said I could re register. We may as well flush our tax dollars down the toilet rather than employ him. It didn't surprise me at all when I saw he had a 1 star rating on rateMds.com”Read moreShow less

“It was my first time here, I was a little worried about I didn’t know how it works. I went 8:15am, I was registered by the front desk girls, they told me to come back at certain time. I was back 5 minutes before the time settled, I asked them if was necessary to let them know that and they said yes. I waited for 2 hours even when I already was booked, it was a long wait BUT, if you ask me, that’s okay when you don’t have a family doctor and you need an opinion of a surgeon about something important. So, I would recommend it.”Read moreShow less

“Would post 0/5 but it’s not an option. Absolutely zero accommodation after entering…. 2 receptionists at the desk 5 days a week, yet only answer the phone when they feel like it??! Both extremely condescending, disrespectful, and have no care for anyone whatsoever. Those Doctors know what they’re doing, but you’ll never get a chance to get into their office. Especially if you’re just a walk-in ! You’ll have better luck going to Kelowna”Read moreShow less

“This morning I went to the clinic because I’ve been struggling with some mental health challenges. On my own initiative, I requested an increase in my antidepressant medication, because I know when I need a little extra support. I also asked about getting a letter for my employer—not for stress leave, but simply to acknowledge that a change in my position would help me work through this. Instead, the doctor dismissed my concerns outright. She told me that no one will pay for counseling and that I’d have to cover it myself—which I could accept—but then she looked at my wife and said she wouldn’t sign “a note for someone to sit at home and smoke cigarettes.” 1. I have lived with depression and anxiety for over 20 years, and I’ve managed it responsibly. I know when I need help—that’s why I was there. 2. I wasn’t asking for a way out of work. I was asking for a letter to support a change in my current position so I could continue working effectively. 3. I don’t even smoke. For two decades I’ve worked hard, and today I finally reached out for professional support—only to be met with rudeness, assumptions, and outright dismissal from the very person I should have been able to trust. It was, without question, the worst experience I’ve ever had in a doctor’s office. And yes, Dr. Eadie, this is directed at you. Should not be allowed to practice. Horrible Horrible.”Read moreShow less
