Horrible customer service. Staff who work for this agency who do the home visits are amazing, but the management needs improvement. Had really bad support and service from them. They need proper training and work on their management. No one knows what’s going on. Their staff don’t know they have an overnight on-call supervisor or staff to reach out for support. They work overnights and aren’t trained on this. On top of this staff don’t even leave notes on clients files to mention the conversation they’ve had. This company is horrible and OHH needs to stop sending clients referrals to these kind of companies.

The lady named LOVE ..wanted to highlight the unprofessional behaviour of the staff they don’t know how to maintain a professional environment and relationship as a coordinator . No communication skills and customer service skills zero boundaries .

No shows. No calls. 92 year old - no show 7 times in 7 days. No reason, no update. No returned calls. Use anyone else if you care about your family.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They kept sending HOMECARE Workers for my dad who is in need of FULL care! The last 2 would call and hang up as soon as I’d answer the phone. One showed up, sat outside for 30 min. When I asked her if she was for us, she denied it. 39 min later AS I was reporting her to Paramed, she come over and ON TO my property, started to film me ON MY OWN PROPERTY asking her to leave as she lied, was committing Fraud, that she was already reported AND that she was now trespassing! “Pria”, the supervisor, does NOTHING and just lies and refuses to answer simple questions. RUN from ParaMed! HORRIBLE company

Deeply Concerned About the Care Standards I am extremely disturbed by what I have witnessed at this facility. The level of neglect and misconduct among many staff members is completely unacceptable, especially in a place meant to care for our most vulnerable—our elderly. Most of the staff seem poorly trained and display very little concern for the wellbeing of the residents. It appears that many are only there to fulfill employment requirements for their Permanent Residency, rather than to genuinely care for patients. It is not uncommon for staff to clock in, spend barely 2 minutes with a patient (during what should be a 30-minute session), and then disappear to sit in their cars—still on the clock and being paid. The hygiene practices are appalling. Residents are often left in unchanged diapers for hours—sometimes days—without proper cleaning. Even worse, I’ve seen staff change a diaper and then feed the same resident using the same unwashed gloves. The health risks are staggering. There have also been troubling instances of verbal aggression, yelling, and even physical pushing of residents. It is heartbreaking to witness such disrespect and lack of compassion toward the elderly. To make matters worse, the management is largely absent. There is little to no supervision, and no one seems to be held accountable. This place needs serious reform, oversight, and accountability. I sincerely hope the right people see this and take action, because the residents deserve far better.

I would’ve given this company no stars, but some of the front line staff were genuine and hard working. I was informed by the staff that this company doesn’t answer their phones. They hire staff with no prior work experience, seemingly out of desperation to fill the positions. It is unacceptable for a company to hire untrained staff, compromising the quality of care provided to my father. I have worked with a lot of companies in terms of my father’s care especially after he had a stroke and was diagnosed with kidney failure. I have told the company to have a regular staff as much as they can and to inform me if new staff were going, so I can have someone to be there to tell them what needs to be done. Especially with the port he has on his chest. The staff get it wet and I’m so tired of repeating myself to the coordinators or whomever answers their calls. I even asked them to have the supervisor call me. I’m yet to wait for a call. I even asked who the supervisor is and till this day I haven’t been told who it was or received a call either. I had even asked them on several occasions to let me know when the supervisor visit will be done for my father. I still have yet to hear back. It’s not only this company, but many have this issue due to poor management and coordination. I’m sure a lot of clients and families would agree with me on this. Hopefully this can be worked on. These company’s find a way to prioritize quality and care than numbers.

Writing this review after a psw SHOUTED at my grandmother’s elderly sister in front of her and WALKED OUT a few minutes into her shift. My grandmother who has Parkinson’s and is recovering from a fractured shoulder from a bad fall was so shaken up. This is the second time this has happened in less than two weeks of service from Paramed. Most of the psws we got so far have no compassion or decency. Two of them (Evelyn and Espedita) were especially unprofessional, shouting and leaving a few minutes into their shifts. These people should not be psw if they cannot treat the elderly with respect. Most of them stay for maybe 30 mins max, they want to leave as soon as they walk in the door because they get paid as long as they show up. Some of them will come earlier or later than the time we requested. What is the point then of even having psw if they don’t want to help us? The company does nothing to fix this, they are used to the complaints and know that most of their clients have no other option. They are happy making money off the wilful neglect of so many elderly or sick people. Disgusting behaviour. Should be delisted.

My experience with them is terrible. It is unfortunate that I am getting yelled at and attitude from the PSWs when I ask them to help with basic tasks. One PSW refused to change my dad even though he needed to be changed. He said he didn't need to be changed but he doesn't know what he's saying sometimes and she refused to listen to what I had to say. Also, we are supposed to get them for an hour but a lot of them would stay for 15 minutes and then complain that they are not here to watch him. The company itself is not doing anything about these people which is a shame because a lot of them are getting paid to do nothing while my dad gets nothing in return. I want to add that there are some PSWs that are amazing and actually care about the families that they are helping. Daisy and Ranjith are two names to look out for because of how great they are.

Never use this company. We should have had 3 1-hour visits per day. I'm lucky if any psws show up at all. My mother is bed-bound and sits in dirty diapers when they don't show. I've never had all three visits filled in a day. It's also impossible to get hold of their office, and the office never calls to let you know if/when someone is coming. Complete negligence and disregard for vulnerable seniors.
