“Dr. Schlee and his team at Paradigm Health Group have been helping me, my family members, and some friends for years, and we can’t say enough about them. Dr. Schlee is very knowledgeable and compassionate, and he takes time to sit with you and go over your questions and concerns. He makes you feel as though you are sitting with a friend, not just a doctor, because he sincerely cares and your comfort and peace of mind is a priority to him. He is extremely open minded and respects what is important to you regarding your health and wellbeing. There isn’t anything you can’t discuss with him, which is often not the case with some of our GPs. We have had many instances where we have been ridiculed and shamed by other doctors for inquiring about certain treatments and options. It is a relief to not be censored, offended, or to feel anxious when trying to have honest, open conversations. You are free to critically think and express yourself, because Dr. Schlee respects your feelings and decisions on how you want to move forward with your life. We value an approach that not only addresses current health concerns, but also emphasizes prevention and long-term wellness, through nutrition, exercise, joy, stress management, improved sleep, social engagement, and other meaningful lifestyle changes. Dr. Schlee is also a true example of “laughter is the best medicine” because he has a great sense of humour. It is very hard not to feel uplifted when going into his office. And that brings me to his other staff. When you phone in or first walk into the office, you will be greeted by Melanie, the Patient Care Coordinator. Melanie is lovely and goes out of her way to help us with our appointments. Her warmth and compassion are why she excels at great customer service. We really enjoy our conversations with her, and we are happy she is the first and the last person we see when we go there. Then there is Amanda, the Registered Nurse. Amanda is very down-to-earth and naturally knows how to make you comfortable with her excellent bed-side manner. As with Dr. Schlee and Melanie, Amanda also has a great sense of humour and knows how to connect with people. She is a gifted asset to the team, and we are very grateful that she is involved in our treatment plans. Ultimately, these people become a part of your healing team. And I can honestly speak on behalf of someone dear to us who is going through a cancer scare, that their support and dedication have alleviated so much fear. We talk, we cry, we laugh, and we move forward together through this difficult experience. You do not have to depart from conventional medicine as they are all happy to work with your other doctors and practitioners, so this allows for your circle of care providers to expand, which is always a good thing. “I have been a patient at Paradigm Health for many years, and my experiences here have always been top-notch. Professional, yet caring and friendly. Dr. Schlee truly cares about his patients, always explaining, always doing his best to offer a remedy, and we've seen wonderful results! My husband consulted Dr. Schlee for the first time recently and he couldn't believe the difference after only a few weeks. He is a wonderful doctor! “I was referred to Dr. Schlee from another Dr. Who was no longer practicing. I can't begin to express my deepest gratitude and thanks for this referral as Dr.Schlee is one of the most kind, knowledgeable and informative practitioners I have ever met . Every treatment I had was explained in great detail and I was very confident that I was getting the best care possible. Dr. Schlee ALWAYS makes sure I'm comfortable and that I have full knowledge of any procedure that I'm having . “If I'm honest I was skeptical of going to a Naturopath, but after seeing numerous doctors for my infections and getting no answers, I felt like I had no other option. I booked with Dr. Arden due to her specialities and I'm very glad I did. She was very empathetic and understanding, she gave me instructions on what to do next and most of all she was honest and I truly appreciated that. “Long long ago, I use to compete in athletics and I still train regularly so I have back pain (L5 S1) that flares up every now and then. My Chiropractor referred me to Dr. Jason Ahlan with Paradigm Health for Prolotherapy. Prolotherapy is a regenerative injection for ligaments and tendons. I could not say enough good things about Dr. Ahlan!! He answered ALL of my questions and curiosities- I am so fascinated with this treatment and he was more than happy to educate me. Once I was ready to go, he produced a customized formula (this varies depending on the person's injury/needs) and for my first visit, he injected one syringe into 6 different spot in my back. Before and as he is injecting the syringe - he walks you through every step of the way. I hate needles and to be honest, the worst part is when the needle breaks the skin, it goes by so quickly! I immediately felt some inflammation but this is normal because its suppose to cause inflammation to promote healing. I may sound like I know what I'm talking about but its because I asked the questions and Dr. Ahlan shared his knowledge :) Depending on the person, it could take a few or even several treatments. I kid you not - I was GOOD TO GO after one treatment. Now, I went for a second treatment for preventative treatment but also had a new issue in my Glutes and Dr. Ahlan did his magic on me. I believe you need a referral but nonetheless, I could not recommend Dr. Jason Ahlan enough, he is truly one of the best!!!!”Read moreShow less
