“I used pace counselling for around 5 months. After building a therapeutic relationship with my counsellor I felt like I could trust her. After needing to cancel an appointment (well before 48 hours in advance) I tried to reschedule with my counsellor. After multiple emails and attempting to message her, I received no reply. This was quite upsetting for myself. A couple weeks later my counsellor actually had an intake appointment for my friend who I referred, this was quite upsetting to hear as I thought maybe the counsellor left the practice or something; I didn't want to think she had ghosted me.
