“I'm so glad I took my gym's advice and contacted OPC for my head injury. They answered my query quickly and politely, got me in immediately for an assessment, and helped pinpoint the issues quickly. They answered all my questions and set me up for recovery. They're very transparent about treatment and make the homework easy to understand and follow. I'll definitely be sending anyone I know to them for help with concussions or vertigo. Thank you so much for getting me back to the gym and life!”Read moreShow less

“I was referred to Dr. Isaiah for proprioceptor issues on the left side following 3 TIA's. His assessment and treatment program was thorough and evidence based. I have seen a real improvement in my awareness of where my left arm is in space following his treatment protocol. I would recommend Dr. Isaiah to anyone who has neurological issues.”Read moreShow less

“Wow, where do I begin with Dr. Isaiah Redfern? Out of nowhere, I started experiencing dizziness, imbalance, brain fog, fatigue, dexterity, and even depth perception issues that made everyday things difficult. Reaching for objects or even sitting on the couch became challenging because my sense of space felt completely off. After an ER visit, blood work and CT scans came back clear, I was left waiting for answers and still no proper diagnosis. During that time, a naturopath suggested it may have been vestibular nerve inflammation following a virus and strongly recommended vestibular therapy with Dr. Isaiah. A week later, someone at my church unexpectedly mentioned his name again while praying with me. With two separate confirmations pointing me to the same person, I knew I needed to see him, and I’m so glad I did. Dr. Isaiah is patient, kind, compassionate, and truly cares about his patients. He listens carefully, treats each person individually, and genuinely wants to see people well. At my very first visit, he confidently said, “Give me three, maximum four visits, and you’ll be well.” He also honestly said that if I didn’t improve, he would guide me toward other options instead of giving false hope. Through his care, exercises, and guidance over four weeks, my dizziness, brain fog, and coordination issues completely resolved, exactly as he said they would. Dr. Isaiah is a willing vessel that God uses to help others. Some people are called to these types of medical profession, and he is one of them. Thank you, Dr. Isaiah. May God continue to bless you as you continue being a blessing to others.”Read moreShow less

“After struggling through the ups and downs of concussion recovery, I can honestly say that Dr Isaiah changed my life. He was the only specialist I saw who truly helped me recover and start feeling like myself again. After each appointment, I could genuinely notice improvements — something I hadn’t experienced anywhere else. I was referred to him by multiple friends who had also experienced concussions, and now I completely understand why they spoke so highly of him. His knowledge, care, and ability to truly listen made all the difference during one of the hardest times in my life. I am incredibly grateful for the support and progress I’ve made under his care. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone struggling with concussion recovery.”Read moreShow less

“Absolutely — here's a stronger, more convincing version you can use: I cannot recommend Dr. Redfern at Performance Care highly enough. After months of debilitating concussion symptoms, his compassionate, patient-centred care changed everything. He took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and every step of the treatment plan, answered all my questions, and genuinely cared about my recovery. He also recommended an excellent acupuncturist to complement his treatments — a combination that made a clear difference. I noticed improvement after the very first session and felt significantly less tired and the headaches was better. After just five sessions I was fully recovered and able to return to my job as a teacher. Following his tailored exercises and supplement guidance was essential to my progress. I feel incredibly grateful that someone recommended him to me — Dr. Redfern is outstanding, and his expertise and kindness gave me my life back.”Read moreShow less

“Went to Dr. Redfern after experiencing Non-Epileptic Seizures and cognitive issues with a diagnosis of FND (Functional Neurological Disorder). There is very little support locally for this disorder, so I was thrilled to find Ottawa Performance Care. After going through the treatments and following the homework, I can now say I am symptom free and feeling very confident. For me this was life changing treatment and I am very grateful.”Read moreShow less

“I recently completed a 5 day session with Dr Redfern in hopes of finding some relief from a concussion I suffered in a car accident almost 4 years ago. My skepticism soon changed to optimism. Prior to these treatments I was having headaches, eye pain, blurred vision, and had a very lazy left eye with drooping eyelid as well as occasional vestibular/balance issues. Dr Redfern identified the issue on day 1 as trauma to cranial nerve 3. By the second or third day I was reading for longer periods of time than I had in several years without the usual symptoms (eye becoming fatigued and vision becoming blurred leading to a headache). We pushed on with a variety of treatments for the remainder of the week with marked improvements each day. At the conclusion of my program, I was able to drive the 6 hours home without my usual half bottle of tylenol and rest breaks every hour. My neck is still like a brick from the whiplash I endured and Dr Redfern recommended I continue with lots of acupuncture for it with my local chiropractor. Overall, my experience was great. Am I 100% - no; however, I am 90% better than I was. I found Dr Redfern to be considerate (I am an old man), kind, thoughtful, a great listener, and a very competent practitioner.”Read moreShow less
