“I am VERY happy with everything Kayla has offered us. -Massage, Mindset support, full service help! Ever since our quick consultation my wife and I have felt supported. Kayla answers her phone , shows up, helps in every way possible and is very experienced! My wife brags about how well the birth of our little girl went figuring Kayla was a huge part in the journey! Thanks Kayla for all that you do !”Read moreShow less

“Kayla is the best birth doula! She helped us achieve not only our birth plan but the birth of our dreams! She provided the emotional support, reassurance and encouragement that I needed to get through the wildest experience of my life and my husband and I couldn’t have done it without her. If you’re considering getting a birth doula, we highly recommend investing in hiring Kayla!”Read moreShow less

“Becoming a mom can be scary and isolating. Kayla has built a space where everyone feels welcome and included through her postpartum support groups. If you’re going to do one thing postpartum, do this program- both for the community and education. It’s so incredibly nice to feel held (drink tea, grab a cookie, sit on a comfy chair and listen/ be listened to by people who get it) while you’re just learning to do a lot of holding yourself <3 thank you Kayla and your community of local experts for enhancing Orillia in this way!”Read moreShow less

“I knew about Kayla’s postpartum support groups before I became pregnant, and when I found out I was expecting I knew this was something I would want to join. Weekly guest speakers all carefully chosen by Kayla to address all aspects of postpartum healing, inside and out. The community and new mom friends are just the whipped cream and cherry on top! Would highly recommend this group to any and all new moms!”Read moreShow less

“Being relatively new to Orillia and a recent new mom, Kayla’s mom group was exactly what I needed to help navigate this new mom world. Knowing you’re not alone in this crazy motherhood journey makes all the difference and new mom friends are an added bonus. Very grateful for Kayla organizing this amazing group and bringing the community together”Read moreShow less

“When I had my first child, I felt quite alone. I was relatively new to Orillia and so I didn't have many friends here. Then the pandemic hit and I couldn't do much as a first time mom. With my second child, I had started seeing Kayla as a perinatal massage therapist. She was helping me with hip and pelvic floor pain. During these treatments, I felt very comfortable chatting with her about my first pregnancy and birth leading her to informing me about a new mom support group. Being able to attend something once a week, learning from local experts, chatting with new moms, and not feeling so alone was such a blessing. It lead me join the group again after my third child was born and there have been no regrets! This group runs for 8 weeks and each week, there is a professional who speaks, providing information for moms. This has included a lactation consultant, naturopathic doctor, psychotherapist, women's fitness trainer, chiropractor, pelvic floor physiotherapist, and more. Kayla has started such a life changing support system for women/moms right here in Orillia. Not only does she provide support through her massage business but she is helping provide emotional support as well AND she is a doula who helps women before and after the birth. If she can't help directly, she helps by finding answers and connecting women with a different support resource. Kayla is not one to dismiss someone; instead, she advocates.”Read moreShow less

“Kayla’s mom’s group is by far the best group I joined after having my baby. It’s an amazing group she facilities to help bring moms together. The biggest difference between this group and others (like those offered at EarlyON or the library) is that this one is focused on moms connecting first and foremost. No baby songs, no baby activities; though you do bring your baby so they are included ahaha The emphasis is on moms’ health—both mental and physical. Kayla ensures there are great speakers for each week, as well as plenty of time for moms to chat and connect. I truly can’t recommend it enough! You can join at any time, but I think it’s most beneficial in the first 1–6 months of your baby’s life.”Read moreShow less

“Kayla is a wonderful RMT who provides excellent prenatal massage services. I saw her all throughout my pregnancy and most recently joined the Postpartum Support group which was facilitated by Kayla. It was a fabulous way to connect with other moms and babies in our community. Postpartum can be very isolating but this group made me feel less alone. I very much looked forward to our weekly group.”Read moreShow less
