“I had an emergency dental appointment for a crown that fell off. Traveling and being out of the country was a challenge. I was able to get a next day appointment. The staff and dentist at this clinic were friendly and super professional. I’m impressed with how efficient and skillful my dentist was. The procedure from start to finish was less than 30 mins. This included X-ray, numbing and cleaning of the tooth. My crown is back on and I’m relieved and pleased. Very happy with Oracare and highly recommend them.”

“I had a very disappointing experience at Oracare Dental Centre with my 8 year old daughter. Before booking, on the phone I specifically asked for an experienced dentist to handle her check up, X rays, and cleaning. I made this very clear because my daughter is sensitive and I wanted someone gentle and experienced with children. Despite this, when we arrived, she was assigned to someone who was still learning and not comfortable working with kids. During the X rays, my daughter struggled with her gag reflex, which is completely normal for children. Instead of showing patience or kindness, the assistant, reacted with frustration, waving her hands and telling my daughter “don’t cry, there’s nothing to cry about.” This was extremely inappropriate and only made the situation more stressful for her. I asked more than once for the dentist to take over, but my request was dismissed each time. Even when it came time for the cleaning, something I had clearly asked the dentist to do, the assistant was still the one about to proceed. At that point, it was clear that my concerns were not being taken seriously. To make matters worse, we were eventually referred to a pediatric dentist, which should have been suggested from the beginning if they were not equipped to properly care for a child. Overall, I felt completely unheard and uncomfortable with how my daughter was treated. A dental visit should never leave a child feeling dismissed, crying and anxious. I would not recommend this clinic for young children, especially if you are looking for a gentle and experienced approach.”
