“I recently had two acupuncture sessions with Martin at Oaktree Chiropractic & Acupuncture Clinic, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment you walk into the treatment room, you're surrounded by an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. The soothing sounds and ambiance make you feel as though you're in the heart of nature. It's so calming that you almost forget you're there because of an injury. If given the choice, I'd happily spend another hour in Martin's treatment room rather than sitting in traffic or trying to concentrate in my open-concept workspace! I came in for shoulder issues, and both treatments were excellent. Martin's attention to detail was immediately noticeable. He took the time to really understand what was causing my discomfort, asked thoughtful questions, and genuinely cared about finding the best solution for me. He also recommended exercises to support my recovery, which I really appreciated. What impressed me most was that Martin wasn't just treating my shoulder, he was focused on helping me understand the root of the problem and giving me the tools to get better. That level of care and professionalism really stood out. I'm already looking forward to my next session. “I am writing this review months after my daughter's appointment with Emily Perras. I only did one follow-up because the first consultation was so upsetting. At first, she seemed kind and attentive. However, when she asked about our nationality and I told her where I was from, she said, "I don't know much about ____, but I am sure it is better to raise a kid here than there." It is reckless to make an assertion about a place you admit you know nothing about. Even if my home country were less safe or stable, patients should never be subjected to these kinds of personal judgments. As a healthcare professional myself, I know how unethical this behavior is. “I've been going to the clinic since the end of April, starting with a choropractic assessment. I'd been having severe leg pain and physio wasn't helping. From the moment you walk in to the clinic, the atmosphere is amazing. The front desk staff are wonderful, welcoming, helpful. I met with Dr. Emilie, I did not feel rushed. I felt heard, listen too, I answered a lot of questions, provided a lot of info. I did x-rays right there and other assessments as well. I even had my first adjustment and it brought some much needed relief. I have continued to go 3 times a week for now as I continue my own journey. They also offer acupuncture treatment with Martin, which I have recently started, which has further reduced my pain for longer periods of time. “I reached out to Ghaith for three different issues: neck pain, rib pinch pain, and knee pain. My knee injury happened after I fell directly on my knee, which caused a meniscus tear. For my neck and rib pain, he resolved the pain in just one session each, which honestly surprised me. What I really appreciate about Ghaith is that he focuses on finding the root cause of the pain, not just treating the symptoms. He is very knowledgeable, experienced, and explains everything clearly during the treatment. He is also professional, patient, and genuinely cares about his patients’ recovery. He was always responsive and available to answer questions, even through email, which made me feel supported throughout the process. “I was very skeptical about going to see a chiropractor. For years I heard from others that it either worked or it made the pain worse. But after years of tests, doctor/specialist visits and acupuncture to reduce pain, i was desperate. I found Dr. Emilie online during some research. The office was having a promotion, the office seemed decent so I booked my appointment. So off i went to my initial visit with my skepticism in hand. The front staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The nurse/assistant who did my initial assessment was friendly and VERY thorough. Which I appreciated as a health care professional myself. Dr. Emilie was very kind and sympathetic which made the skepticism lessen. I also appreciated that she had me return after reviewing my chart and xrays to discuss treatment. I knew that my treatment would be long because of my injuries and it was really great to have different payment plan options. After my first few weeks of ups and downs I can honestly say i am now a firm believer!! Dr. Emilie is quick to adjust to my body and its limits. My pain has drastically reduced, I can walk up to 3 km with my dog now and there are days where I don't even have to take pain killers! “I have been receiving treatment at Oaktree Clinic for about a month now, and I can confidently say that the entire staff is excellent — always welcoming, warm, and attentive. Dr. Emilie is truly a gem. I feel very lucky to have found her. She is extremely competent, and I have a great deal of trust in her work. So far, I’ve been very happy with my treatment and I’m really looking forward to seeing my progress over time. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone experiencing any kind of health issue. Chiropractic care is definitely worth trying — the benefits can be surprising. It’s fascinating to realize how interconnected our bodies are, and how an issue in the spine can potentially impact other parts of the body, even organs. One thing I particularly appreciate is how Dr. Emilie and the entire team take the time to explain how everything works. They play an important educational role as well, which makes the whole experience even more valuable. Honestly, it’s been an amazing experience.
