“Oakridge Physiotherapy is a fantastic clinic. After a very negative experience at another facility, I was referred here by someone in the field, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The Clinical Team: Jason: My primary physiotherapist, whom I highly recommend. He is an all-around fantastic therapist; I was deeply impressed by his patient care, his years of clinical experience, and his contributions to the field at both a professional and management level. Reyna & Wensley: I also worked briefly with both of these physios. They are solid practitioners who each bring unique skills and approaches. Regardless of who you see, you will be well taken care of. Personalized Care: The clinic makes sure things are done by the book and is exceptionally well-run, but it maintains a warm, personal touch. Unlike some clinics that feel like a cold assembly line, the senior desk staff, like Naomi, are incredibly on top of things and genuinely know many of the clients by name and face. WorkSafeBC & ICBC Clients: I would especially recommend this clinic for those with WorkSafeBC or ICBC claims. The front desk and therapists are highly familiar with these specific processes and ensure all necessary paperwork is handled properly. The physios here are truly great advocates and very supportive of their clients’ recovery. Overall: The clinic is great and conveniently located near the skytrain station (or parking by the nearby church). It seems like the majority of clients here love their therapists. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone!”Read moreShow less

“I have been going to Oakridge Physiotherapy since 2014, it has always been my consistent place to get help with all of my health issues. Jason is the best as treating TMJ and many other physical issues! And Luca is very skilled at massage therapy, really targeting and releasing knots. I have referred family and friends here and they have always had great care. 10/10”Read moreShow less

“I was asked to post this by the very nice receptionist. Thank you Oakridge Physio for your grace and kindness! On my way to work, I saw a distressed senior who also happens to be a newcomer to Canada. Using Google translate, I learned she needed to use the toilet but the neighborhood had nothing available. I walked with her ahead and found Oakridge Physio. Despite the fact (as was explained to me by the receptionist) that Oakridge Physiotherapy has apparently been bombarded by non-patients coming in willy, nilly to use their washrooms - to the detriment of their patients who already compete for the facilities in epic combat - I am ever grateful for the generosity by Oakridge Physio staff to allow the senior to retain her dignity. Once again, if I or anyone I know should need physiotherapy, I shall recommend Oakridge Physio, where the elderly woman was given consideration. I'm sure they'll consider whatever pain or disorder I, or any person may encounter. Movement is life.”Read moreShow less

“I had a really positive experience working with Dr. Coolen and her staff. Dr. Coolen was kind, professional, and very skilled at his job. He helped me out with some pervasive runners knee which resolved in 3-4 sessions. He offered exercises that I could reasonably fit into my busy schedule, making the most amount of impact with the limited time that I had! I highly recommend this Clinic.”Read moreShow less

“I had very painful tendonosis in my foot and could barely walk. Lately, my shoulder has been very painful and I have limited arm movement. Jason has a way of approaching these issues with a variety of treatments, including exercises that I do on my own. He is professional, efficient, and measured in his approach. My foot is 95% better and I know my shoulder will get there, too. It meant a lot to me when I thanked Jason for helping with my foot and he put it back on me saying that I had done the hard work. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.”Read moreShow less

“I’m honestly torn about writing this review. You know that feeling when you find the perfect little beach or hidden gem, and it’s so good you don’t want to tell anyone about it? That’s exactly how I feel about Luca. He’s not your average RMT. What he does is in a completely different category. This isn’t just a nice massage, it’s actual treatment, the way it’s supposed to be. He has this crazy ability to find tension and pain you didn’t even know existed, and then somehow, with surgical-level precision, he releases it. Muscles that have been tight for years? Gone. Chronic spots you thought you just had to live with? Fixed. I’ve had massages my whole life, it’s my go-to self-care, my guilty pleasure. I’ve been to high-end spas, seen plenty of RMTs, tried every style and technique out there. And I’m telling you right now: Luca is in a league of his own. Nobody does what he does. He’s got a gift, and if you’ve been dealing with pain, tension, or just feel like your body’s been stuck in first gear, you need to see him. He’s the only one I go to when I actually need something fixed. Not fluffed, not “relaxed", fixed. So yes, I’m reluctantly writing this, because once people discover how good he is, booking with him is going to get a lot harder. If you’re looking for results, go see him. Just don’t take my spot.”Read moreShow less

“I have been going to Oakridge Physiotherapy Clinic for well over 10 years to manage a chronic condition. I’ve had the pleasure of working with many therapists over this time, and can say without question how pleased I am with the high level of professionalism, personalized care & friendliness, and expertise I’ve experienced from each of them. I have found each therapist to have the clinical knowledge I’ve needed as well as a willingness to work collaboratively in order to address my mobility issues and manage chronic pain. Probably 3 aspects most important to my health care plan include (1) creative problem solving and a willingness to think outside the box, (2) ability to offer a high level of knowledge and experience, and (3) work collaboratively with me as I provide feedback and ideas as to what is working and what is not. Every therapist I’ve worked with at Oakridge Physiotherapy has met or exceeded my needs and hopes! Thank you to every therapist, Jason (the owner) and the admin team for all their support and encouragement. I plan to be working with this clinic for many more years to come.”Read moreShow less

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but will definitely recommend this clinic! This is such a well- organizes center and everyone knows their role well. First, the ladies at the reception desk were so friendly, welcoming and efficient. And I've had a great experience with my physiotherapist, Brandon Sum since this June. He was exceptionally performed on where I was feeling pains involved with injury from work. Each time he asks me about my condition and focuses on the problem. He assesses my pain spots carefully and checks even though it hurts during the treatment. He is good at treating my injury pains with kindness. As well as he took his time on those areas. Great balance of relaxation and toughness. He is so kind that I felt comfortable during the treatment. Also Brandon is really professional and has great knowledge. I get his various exercise tips from him, and he teaches me the exercise techniques I need. So he is a great adviser. To sum up, they are so professional, kind and patient, so I highly recommend this center.”Read moreShow less
