I had hip replacement surgery a week ago and I have been amazed that the recovery has been so smooth and painless. All the doctors and nurses were fabulous, in particular my orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Herman Dhotar. Wonderful hospital! I was so impressed how organized everything is, they've thought of everything. Thanks to everyone who helped me feel so supported and my experience so carefree. You are all angels! ❤❤

I recently gave birth at North York General Hospital, and I am very grateful for the high level of care I received throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum stay. During my entire pregnancy, I was followed by Dr. Modupe Tunde-Byass, who was always professional, reassuring, and thorough. Her guidance helped me feel confident and well-informed throughout my prenatal journey. I also want to acknowledge Dr. Abheha Satkunaratnam, the OB-GYN resident from NYGH, whose support and attentiveness made a meaningful difference. Both doctors showed genuine concern for my health and comfort, and I truly appreciate their dedication. The Labor & Delivery team at NYGH was equally exceptional. The nurses were consistently kind, attentive, and patient, checking on me regularly and making sure I understood every step. Their calm approach helped ease my nerves during labor. The doctors managing my delivery were professional, respectful, and clear in their communication. They made sure I felt safe, informed, and supported throughout the process. The labor room was clean, well-equipped, and organized, with staff ready to assist whenever needed. After delivery, the postpartum team continued to provide excellent care. They monitored me and my baby closely, offered helpful breastfeeding guidance, and supported me with practical newborn care advice. I also appreciated that the meals provided were timely, warm, and well-balanced, which made recovery more comfortable and helped me regain my strength. Overall, my experience at North York General Hospital was very positive. I’m thankful for the professionalism and compassion of the entire team, especially Dr. Tunde-Byass and Dr. Satkunaratnam. I would highly recommend NYGH to anyone seeking a safe and supportive place to give birth.

One of the worst hospitals. The staff is rude and unprofessional. They just chit-chat and do not care about patients.

Investment is the best way to generate more income for yourself. Trading and investing with a superb platform and a trusted account manager. Miss loretta morgan .I earned a profit of 10% daily and a total of $24,500 after 5 days of successful trading and mining for me with a minimum investment of $4,000 in my wallet, I watch my Profit grow daily until I made my withdrawal successfully myself from my wallet and I converted the bitcoin into cash successfully. and gave back 20% as commission. Thank you very much for your diligent work Loretta morgan I strongly recommend her to anyone who is interested in trading. I had my baby in August 2021. While my care was transfered to the OB since I had an emergency c-section, the care in the OR and recovery was excellent. But after I was transfered to the floor I had different nurses. One of them was excellent, very caring and through, she answered every question I had. However, another nurse removed my dressing and left a second degree burn on my skin she was careless while ripping the tape. I've been a nurse for 15 years so I know what I'm talking about. I tried to book an appointment with a lactation consultant, I booked one online and I received a call saying that the appointment will be virtual due to COVID but that I needed to book again through the website which I did. No one never called me. I ended up booking a private LC which is very costly. I booked a second time an LC appointment and no one never called. My daughter is almost 5 months and we couldn't exclusively breastfeed, I ended up supplementing. I wish the hospital would have supported me on my choice to exclusively breastfeed. Although I'm a nurse, I'm also a single mom by choice. It's very disappointed to know that the system has failed you

Prior visits to this hospital have been exceptional except for the aftercare I received both times in the mommy and baby department after my C section. The first time around, nurses were dismissive, rude and treated us like a burden for asking questions or merely existing in their space. I was not impressed but was too elated with my new addition to have that ruin my experience. I recently had my second at the hospital and while the OB and delivery care were top notch I cringe as I recall the experience I encountered a mere week ago. Racism, insensitivity and quite frankly being treated like a child while trying to advocate for appropriate pain management after major surgery too the list as unacceptable. The most upsetting was the lactation consultant who actually said the following words to two POCs “congratulations on your baby! What did you have?! A boy/girl or monkey.” This actually did happen! I was dumbfounded snd flabbergasted. She made no attempt or realization as to why this statement was offensive and when the unit manager was asked to deal with it she sent out a generic email to cover her butt and wash her hands of the situation to say she did something. The actual employee ironically had no clue as to why this statement could me misconstrued and “misunderstood” as racist or offensive. Then having the staff member demand to meet us on her terms to “apologize” feeling so “torn” About the incident. Additionally, being given inadequate pain management regime by a resident who took 24 + hours to re-evaluate to nurses ignoring pleas for pain management alternatives or to get help to establish a plan beside Tylenol for major surgery. Flash forward to my little one being rushed to the NICU and hastily transferred to Sick kids and me trying to be get discharged to be at their bedside and them taking 48 hours to prep discharge papers in light of a serious situation while being told on one hand, this is an easy case and we will get you to sick kids immediately to having to wait for the unit to get it together to assemble all the pieces that was done by one advocate in 25 mins. Additionally to the NICU staff sending incomplete reports snd supplies to the forwarding NICU including another patients breast milk in the package that contained my transfer items. This was a terrible experience and one that will stain this hospitals reputation and experience for me. I am still reeling from this experience and cannot believe the complacency I experienced at the hands of “professionals”. Thoroughly disgusted and appalled.
