“I'm a high performance, masters, endurance athlete. I aggravated a herniated disc in my lower back. Lalit was able to see me immediately, he quickly diagnosed my problem and started treatment. He explained everything he was doing and gave me a sense of calm, professionalism. I followed his advice and am glad to say, "back on the bike".”Read moreShow less

“This review is related to my tennis elbow issues and the worst experience I have ever had with a ‘Physiotherapist’ after having undergone physiotherapy for the same issue twice previously over the years with Pro Physio & Sport Medicine Centres (my go-to moving forward once again as they resolved my tennis elbow issues efficiently, with professionalism, and genuinely cared about my condition). The only reason I provided Lalit at Nirvana with the opportunity to provide me with this type of care is because I moved and the location was close (lesson learned – when you find a good Physiotherapist, stick with them), reviews seemed ok (though I missed the negative reviews based on experiences very similar to mine), and ‘tennis elbow’ is listed on their place of business’ window (this should be removed as it’s false advertising based on my waste of time + $, negative experience with them ) along with other ailments they supposedly support. I have dealt with tennis elbow over the last few years due to sports related overuse. As mentioned above, I had successfully overcome tennis elbow, built my forearm strength back up through a different physiotherapy provider (within 5-6 sessions in total while also being prescribed focused rehab exercises to perform from home) so I am fully aware of what to expect from a Physiotherapist and I also shared this info with Lalit during my first visit. I went in for 5 sessions and then gave up as I could tell that I was getting nowhere in my rehabilitation and that Lalit wasn’t providing the level of care, attention, and services I was expecting. I did let him know in the very beginning that I was willing to undergo up to 7 sessions with him for this. In house sessions with Lalit started with icing my elbow which was my first red flag as I have never had ice applied to my injury during an in person visit at the other Physiotherapist locations I had visited for previous injuries (the previous Physiotherapists I had dealt with for tennis elbow and other injuries simply reminded me to ice at home - I pay for access to physio related rehab machines/approaches like TENS, ultrasound wands, dry needling, etc. and not to lay down and be iced for 13 mins!). I had to proactively let Lalit know how my arm was feeling as he didn’t ask (other Physiotherapists I have dealt with would ask me about my pain, range of motion at the beginning of every session to measure progress and use this to determine future approaches to therapy). As mentioned above, I didn’t get the assurance that he cared about my well-being and getting me back to 100% and that I was simply a paying customer. As part of the sessions, I was then worked over with an ultrasound wand and then hooked up to a TENS machine immediately after icing. This provided temporary pain relief but wasn’t going to rehabilitate my arm, so I asked about at home exercises being prescribed as this was always part of my physiotherapy in the past. Lalit walked me through a stretch to perform on my arm and then 3 exercises that involved neck movement (I am not kidding, second red flag as this was unrelated to my tennis elbow and was a waste of my time). After machines used at these sessions, Lalit would walk me through various stretches for my lower back with no attention to my arm whatsoever (besides the machines used earlier in the sessions) and I reminded hm again and again that I wanted my arm back as my back was fine and he simply ignored me (third red flag). I am very upset that I ended up burning through almost all of the benefits I had earmarked towards getting back to normal, that I made absolutely no progress in rehabilitating my arm, and that this entire experience was a total waste of time resulting in just setting me back from healing for several weeks. I am now stuck with providing at-home rehab for myself based on what I have learned from previous related experience with other Physiotherapists and though this will be a slower recovery, I have no choice in the matter. Stay far away from this location for any tennis elbow related therapy folks.”Read moreShow less

“I went for finger and wrist joint issues -- quickly blew through my entire insurance budget for the year with no improvement in my symptoms. Service is decent, and the team seems conscientious, but I found the service ultimately unhelpful. My situation is long-term possible RSI joint pain and I felt like their approach wasn't a good match for my situation. I found it frustrating that the clinician I worked with didn't really hear me when I expressed that I didn't think the approach was working well. I won't go back, but I can see how they would be a decent option for straightforward physio needs.”Read moreShow less

“I am very grateful to have found this place. I was just walking around and thought to drop by as I have been having some pain in my back. Dr. Bindu and Dr. Lalit was able to accommodate me. They are very attentive and detailed and ensures the health of their patients are well taken care of. I've only started my treatment recently and i am already feeling the difference. This clinic is also very clean. I highly recommend this place for any of your physio needs.”Read moreShow less

“I feel incredibly grateful to Lalit and Bindu for the work they did with me, helping me regain function, mobility and strength in my right hand, wrist, and shoulder. They were considerate with the pain I experienced with movements, yet they were persistent and ensured that I pushed myself to achieved as much as possible with our sessions. Doctors I consulted told me I would never regain certain functions in my wrist but Lalit and Bindu helped me reach as much as I possibly could with my limitations. Thank you for giving me back my life! These are two incredible people, looking to help others in a meaning way.”Read moreShow less
