“I had a very bad and unacceptable experience with New Cura Health, specifically with massage therapist Makenna Barton. I booked weekly massage therapy appointments starting September 11. My very first appointment was cancelled one hour before the scheduled time. The next appointment on September 23 was also cancelled, and the third appointment on September 30 was cancelled again about 2.5 hours before the appointment. I contacted the admin team and was told the therapist was sick. I understand that illness can happen occasionally, but what followed was completely unreasonable. I booked 15 appointments in total, and more than half (8) of them were cancelled, almost always 1–2 hours before the scheduled time. Several cancellations happened back-to-back on September 2, 9, and 16. This is not normal and shows a serious lack of respect for patients’ time. Because of these repeated last-minute cancellations, I completely lost trust in this clinic and cancelled my remaining appointments. You simply cannot plan your schedule or rely on this team, especially if you are trying to use your benefits before the end of the year. Overall, this experience was stressful, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I no longer trust this clinic and would not recommend New Cura Health to anyone looking for reliable and dependable care.”Read moreShow less

“I’ve been seeing Makenna for over 6 months and she’s fantastic! I work in an office and typically have the same chronic pain, and I find some RMTs use the same methods over and over. Not Makenna! She takes her time to understand what she should target each session and uses different techniques. It shows how attentive she is and how she personalizes each session. “My husband and I have been going to NewCura since they changed from Anthem. Makenna is our RMT and delivers top notch service in addressing our needs as she is very knowledgeable and attentive, providing additional suggestions as needed for exercises to manage any areas of concern. We have also accessed the physiotherapy offered and were extremely happy with the service provided and IMS treatment. All the staff are extremely personable and customer service is top notch. “I’ve been going to New Cura Health Clinic for the past four months for massages with Makenna, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Makenna always takes the time to check in before and after each session, making sure there are no new aches and discussing what type of massage will be most beneficial that day. She is extremely approachable and genuinely cares about her clients’ well being. What really stood out to me was her follow-up - she even emailed me after a session to see how I was doing. “I've been going to NewCura for over two years and I'd recommend this clinic over the other nearby ones. Prab is great to work with, and all of the RMTs are highly skilled and do an excellent job.
