“June 6/24 update to my review: I am loving my time with Denise and FP Brantford! I am more aware of my body and movements in such a short time already! I have seen Stephanie for massage therapy. She has shared her findings with Denise and she has incorporated those findings into my workouts! They're such a great team and I can't wait to see my results in a month, 6 months and a year! Original review: I'm two sessions in with Denise and I am loving it. I attended their information session over the weekend and it just made sense! I can't wait for my massage therapy treatment with Steph and I look forward to the day I can say I'm pain free!”Read moreShow less

“I can’t recommend this fitness studio enough!! I have long and varied experiences with fitness- step, swimming, running, personal training, cycling, weights, yoga, Zumba: you name it. Then I trained with Stephanie 2 years ago when I was struggling with a frozen shoulder. She did what no one else could… helped my recovery, built back my strength and stamina. After trying to get back into fitness, including trying crossfit, l wound up bored, sore, unmotivated… I am now back at FP and training with Denise who is outstanding! I can accomplish more in 45 minutes with her than my 1+ hours at the gym ever did! With far more variety and in a way that has prevented injury (unlike CrossFit). My mom is due for a knee replacement and in chronic pain. I sent her here and she now has pain free days- the first in 3 years!! I sent my husband with chronic back pain, and he’s now the fittest he’s been and pain free. It doesn’t happen overnight but it happens. This is by far the most productive and injury fixing and injury preventing training you will do - with attentive and experienced trainers. Give it a try!!! You won’t be disappointed!”Read moreShow less

“Great team of highly skilled professionals. Helped improve hips, back and shoulders function a lot, made a huge difference just within first moth of training. Highly recommend it.”

“Functional Patterns training isn’t just “going to the gym” it is making an investment in being able to move effectively, not just for sport, but for life. I started with Stephanie 8 years ago broken from years of traditional fitness. Now, I’m in my 60’s and moving better then I’ve moved for the past 30 years, running faster, jumping higher and moving weight I could never move before. I used to have chronic back and foot pain…that is now a thing of the past. This isn’t an overnight “quick fix” but it is a way to improve your life and have fun doing it. Stephanie has an eye for movement and knowing exactly what system needs to be be focused on first. I can’t recommend this business highly enough!”Read moreShow less

“The best massage I've ever had. She can really work your muscles hard if they need it. Also really works on therapy not just relaxation if that is what you want.”

“I'll highly recommend Stephanie for both fitness training and massage sessions. She is always very positive and encouraging. She has a gift of healing, and her massages are truly excellent in fixing my aches and pains.”

“I have not completed all classes yet however I have seen much improvement in my posture. I did not originally decide to do functional patterns to correct my posture but originally went due to the fact my ankles are and have been injured for many many years. From physio therapy to ankle exercices, it never did too much to improve my ankles. However I can see that functional patterns is helping them through improving my posture and how I move and walk. If you have persistent injuries or if you are recovering from a new injury I can recommend you look into functional patterns. I was hesitant to start with them as I’d never heard of it in my life but a good friend had mentioned it and introduced it to me and I can say I am happy to have decided to start. I will continue to do it after my sessions with my practitioner end. It’s a life long skill that is definitely worth investing your energy and time.”Read moreShow less

“Always an amazing experience. If you want to move better, pain free, reclaim your health, you have to try Functional Patterns - you won't get a more personalised/scientific approach any where else.”
