“This place should be shut down. The smell of our room and the place is atrocious I had to put tissue in my nostrils to sleep, had to light a candle to take away smell. the hot water tap didn’t work so couldn’t wash my face let alone my hands, mold in the shower, grossness on the walls, had to lift the toilet tank to stop the toilet from leaking. The one light didn’t work, carpets so dirty. Even the stairs to the place were not shovelled. Very little towels Won’t let me upload videos.”Read moreShow less

“The reason I wanted to stay at that hotel was because I wanted to be near the tower restaurant to be able to eat cause I was visiting and it was -30 degree weather and too cold to walk far everywhere, and I was also very excited to be there as well cause I used to go to the tower restaurant with my high school friends all the time growing up. They did not want to help this Veteran at all, no compassion no care, nothing, if I didn't have all the money up front, I was asked to give the keys back instantly and told to leave immediately. Not recommended. Although the Tower Restaurant had great food. Not even worthy of a star here. oh yes I am a Veteran!!! and I was born here, and I flew over 4000 kms to visit. Every other hotel there and everywhere in this Country takes payment when u leave. I was getting paid from veterans affairs in 5 days, and they still made me leave, well, go to the Beefeater it's a better hotel anyway. these ppl are unkind. apologies pls. thank u. I went to this place cause I wanted to be near the tower restaurant, thats all. I needed some compassion, and they were void of that. ps. I took a cab right over to another hotel by the mall and stayed there no problem for 5 days, then to the Beefeater for another 4 days, so yes, everyone else accepted me and I paid for the both of them up to $1000 total when I left both hotels. and yes both of them did not charge me on entry of their hotels and yes none of them asked me to leave, and no I am not homeless, I was visiting and didn't plan to stay at hotels for most of my stay, have a nice day. 😊”Read moreShow less

“Run down dump. my Spouce and I stayed while he was working at the boundary dam shut down. No service. The wifi was terrible, but willy's pub was across the alley. They had excellent service and VLTS. Yes, I stayed there, but honestly. I wish we hadn't.”

“Unfortunately not worth taking the chance of staying here. Stayed here last year for shutdown and woke up to bed bugs. This year a coworker found cockroaches in his room. Pay a bit more and stay somewhere else.”

“I've stayed here a few times over the past couple of years, and the service has declined to the point that the price isn't worth it. I recognize it is an extremely cheap hotel, but the minute we walked into the lobby this last weekend, it smelled heavily of urine. We got charged an additional $10 for having a 2nd person sleep in a two bed room which seems off to me. They lost our reservation which is no surprise as all the notes were poorly handwritten in several ledgers. When we entered the room, it had easily washable stains on the wall, and the soap dispensers didn't work. If you were wondering why it has such a high rating, look at the trend of those who give those ratings. I assume it is bots.”Read moreShow less

“good location and good price. Staff here were helpful and friendly. They provided us information of local restaurants and places to visit. Room is clean and furnished. It was an awesome stay for us.”

“We spent two nights at this motel and we are very satisfied with it. The rooms are clean and functional. Wifi works well and Tv has a lot of channels. The bed is comfortable. Amazingly surprised by the quality we found for a 50$/night.”
