“The first session cost $115 but was only a brief conversation to get acquaintant and asking what you want—no real assessment or useful information provided. Most other speech therapists offer this type of consultation for free. The sessions are virtual only, and overall, I didn’t find the service worth the price. RE: Thanks for the reply. I just want to clarify that my review reflects my genuine experience. While the therapist was pleasant, I personally didn’t find the session worth the cost compared to what other providers typically include in an initial appointment. I genuinely hope things can improve, for example, offering a brief (10–15 minute) complimentary consultation might help potential clients better understand if the service is the right for them before committing to a paid session (which is not cheap for many families).”Read moreShow less

“I enjoyed both the individual and group sessions. They helped me become more aware of my stuttering while teaching practical tools and techniques to manage my speech, as well as stress and anxiety. Sasha was a great listener and very responsive through out the therapy.”Read moreShow less

“Simply put, Sasha helped me restore confidence in my speech. Sasha was immediately able to hone in on elements of /s/ that were bothering me, but I couldn't place my finger (tongue?) on exactly what it was. She has an incredible ear, is intuitive, and warm and supportive. Her guidance through various exercises and advice on things I could do outside of sessions have made me a better speaker and better voice actor and have helped me get out of my own head enabling me to focus on what's important: those I'm communicating with and my performances. Thank you!”Read moreShow less

“I first connected with Sasha through a workshop series offered by Parkinson Society British Columbia. I enjoyed the sessions, so I contacted her about one-on-one SLP services. I did the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) program with Sasha and, in addition to measurable improvements in my voice, it improved my confidence and changed my mindset. Each session during the program was customized for me and I enjoyed the creative, varied, and challenging exercises and activities that Sasha brought to the sessions. I also appreciated that we debriefed the activities in the moment, which helped me with my learning and also provided Sasha with insights for upcoming sessions. While the LSVT program is quite intense, Sasha made it a lot of fun and was always encouraging and supportive. I looked forward to every session! I highly recommend working with Sasha for people with Parkinson’s, as well as anyone looking to improve their voice/communication.”Read moreShow less

“Sasha has worked with our son who suffered a severe brain trauma March 9, 2021. Between the Prince George hospital, VGH & GF Strong, we have had a few speech pathologists. Sasha is hands down the best we have had & we feel lucky to have her in this this journey with us. The techniques she has taught him & more us, have been invaluable. It is such a specialized field to begin with & when you can have someone bring the expertise that Sasha does, you are very fortunate. I have never felt more passionate about giving a review as this one & encourage anyone if they want to reach out to me, please do.”Read moreShow less
