“Optometrist made a mistake on my prescription and I had it filled at Spec Savers. Of course it was wrong so I called Mountain Eye Care and they did correct the prescription admitting it was their error but no apology. Now Spec Savers is refilling the two pair of glasses prescription no charge to me. Now that’s customer service. Thank you Spec Savers!”Read moreShow less

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Chadda and his care at Mountain Eye Care for my mother who experienced complications from eye cataract surgery. Took her for her post surgery appointment and he went above and beyond to address her concerns, taking extra time to listen and explain everything so clearly. He made her feel much better and confident and we are extremely grateful for him and the staff. I would recommend them 100% anytime! Truly a five-star experience at Mountain Eye Care! “This place was recommended to me with a particular Optometrist. It was a busy place. No help when looking at glasses. So my issue is that I had my eye exam completed here. Took my prescription and purchased glasses closer to home. When I received my glasses, I could not wear them due to blurriness. So I called this place and was offered to repeat eye exam with me paying again and if there’s a discrepancy in script, I would be refunded. I decided to test my eyes where I purchased my glasses. Again, paying for eye exam. So definitely an error in prescription from this place. Also, now I will have to pay an additional $300 to change out my lenses to correct prescription. I called them today to see if they would cover the eye exam test and was told no that they can’t because it was done elsewhere. Bad customer service. “We’ve always had a great experience at Mountain Eye Care. My Family and I have seen Dr. Ahokas for many years and highly recommend him. He is professional, kind and very knowledgeable. We appreciate him so much. However today we had the extreme pleasure of Heather assisting us in purchasing eye glasses. She went above and beyond looking up prices, checking for alternative colours or sizes and gave us multiple quotes. Heather gave us her undivided attention and we didn’t feel rushed or pressured. She answered all our questions with ease. She billed the insurance company directly and truly made the experience delightful! She’s a gem! In addition, bouquets to Kendal who brightens our visits. “Not a regular patient here as from out of town, but called urgently in the evening as my husband got something in his eye and was in a lot of pain.
