“Horrible reception, fairly decent dr’s sometimes”

“I can not thank the staff at the CRIS - Community Rehabilitation Interdisciplinary Services for all of the help that was provided to me. Hailey, Dave, Sarah, and Ashley were amazing to work with. I have mobility issues and thought I was getting by in my day to day. The expertise of the staff at the Clinic were incredible in both working with me, hearing everything I had to say, and teaching me to take better are of myself. I have seen a large improvement in my mobility since working with the clinic. And beyond that, I never felt pushed to adapt in ways I felt I could not. If I tried something and did not work the staff immediately had another solution to try. Lastly, the staff fully understands when they are not the experts and got me in contact with specialists that could address my needs. So very happy I attended the clinic and if offered I recommend everyone go.”Read moreShow less

“This review is based on our experience at CRIS - Community Rehabilitation Interdisciplinary Services, Edmonton, AB - Lymphedema Clinic (Northgate Location) I cannot speak highly enough of Ashley McLaughlin and the exceptional care she provided to our family. As an Occupational Therapist at CRIS, Ashley demonstrated remarkable skill, compassion, and dedication throughout our journey. Highlights of Ashley's Care: 1. **Patience and Understanding:** Ashley's approach was characterized by an extraordinary level of patience and empathy. This was particularly crucial given our son's special needs and the challenges we faced. 2. **Expertise in Complex Cases:** Our son's limitations posed significant challenges during the assessment, evaluation, and treatment of his Lymphedema. Ashley navigated these complexities with impressive skill and adaptability. 3. **Comprehensive Support:** Ashley provided amazing support that went beyond just medical care. Her holistic approach considered our entire family's needs and circumstances. 4. **Clear Communication:** Throughout the process, Ashley ensured we were well-informed and comfortable with each step of the treatment plan. 5. **Lasting Impact:** The care and guidance Ashley provided have made a huge, positive difference in our family's life. “They are very caring and helpful . But long wait for appointments, they need more nurses to help clients .”

“My son is only 4 months old and we are going on seeing 3 different doctors from here now. They have us bounced around from dr to dr leaving us having to explain our son's history over and over. We also had an appointment booked a month in advance and the day before get a phone call that "the boss" decided to close the clinic at 2pm meaning our 245pm appointment is no more. They said we'd get a phone call appointment instead but couldn't give us a specific time-that's great if all you need is a verbal confirmation of something but this is a4 month checkup which requires weight and height to be tracked as well as a physical look at our baby over concerns we have that can't be simply explained over the phone. Super unimpressed.”Read moreShow less

“Love dr Badachargie she is so sweet. I wish I could go to different clinic to see her because the receptionist I had today was very rude along with the nurse I had today. I was 10 minutes late with my 1 year old and 4 month old as I had to park in residential because the was no parking and walk 20 minutes in the cold with my babies and they sat me in the waiting room for 40 minutes deciding if they could see my baby then the nurse said very rudely to me I am an hour late and made me feel very unwelcome so I offered to leave. Like yes I am now a hour after my appt time after waiting in this waiting room for u guys to take me in. I was actually only 10 minutes late but alright. Did not treat me properly while weighing and measuring my baby whatsoever. Usually the nurses I have here are great with helping me carry my things, showing me weight in pounds, but this one has learning to do. Not sure her name unfortunately. Really sad as I was having a rough morning with my kids and these 2 ladies made me feel totally defeated. Then the receptionist has the audacity to say don’t be late when I rebooked for 2 months. I will not be coming back. Very unfortunate as the doctors are great. Hopefully that receptionist and nurse learn to treat people better, especially new moms.”Read moreShow less
