“I power lift and work as a tradesmen - one day at work I tweaked my back. I couldn’t bend over, coughing hurt and I couldn’t stand straight up for more than 15-20 minutes. After a few months of trying to tough it out I booked an assessment with Jaya. He was able to diagnose the cause and formulated a game plan. With a couple sessions a week, he progressively came up with a routine that targeted the affected area. I followed the routine everyday and would notice pain reducing while doing so. After about a month I noticed I was progressing towards full function again so we decided to end the sessions. Now I feel very confident and have a greater understanding of my back. I do have tiny flare ups here and there but it’s solved by doing a stretch here and there from my routine. I would recommend anyone with similar issues to come here and get assessed and put in the time to their routines, it’s worked greatly for me!”Read moreShow less

“Josh Doppert's excellent professional help helped me regain greatly increased use of my shoulder and arm after only a couple of days, and the improvement continues. “My experience with Montebello Physiotherapy was amazing, especially the physiotherapist I dealt with exclusively - Jaya Sam. I came to Montebello Physio after a total knee replacement. Jaya was kind, compassionate and knowledgeable which helped immensely with my healing and recovery. He was interested in me not just as a patient but as a person. Each session when new exercises were shown and added to my routine Jaya would send a email with the exercises to continue doing at home. He was very encouraging and helped me to reach the goals the orthopaedic surgeon had set out for me. I am so happy to have my confidence and strength back. I will be back again after my next knee replacement in the fall. I would highly recommend Jaya and Montebello Physiotherapy. Also a shout out to the staff on the front desk they were very friendly and organized and helped me with making appointments that suited my work schedule. “I felt very fortunate to find this clinic and, in particular, Jaya as a physiotherapist. I came down with BPPV (vertigo) and called the office which went to considerable trouble to get me a same day appointment. Jaya was skilled, personable, and professional as he did a series of maneuvers to help resolve the problem. I needed a second appointment and he was good enough to offer me a Saturday appointment though the office was closed. This one was fully successful and I am very grateful that he, and the clinic, were caring enough to go above and beyond on my behalf. They deserve a sixth star from Google.”Read moreShow less
