“I had a problem with my left knee; a protrusion on the outer area, with pins and needles down the outside of my calf, nerve damage. This started when I twisted my knee during a Pickleball game. The first person to examine my leg suggested discontinuing all sports and it would recover. After two months there was no improvement. After consulting a second opinion, I was referred to to Physiotherapy. There was no improvement with the first physiotherapist, but a friend recommended Shannon@Momentum Physiotherapy Clinic. On examination at my first appointment, she found the head of the fibula was much looser on the left leg. Her diagnosis was 'Fibula head joint dysfunction!. I was given taping techniques and home stretching exercises. When I walked to my car, with calf taped, I noticed that the pins and needles which began four months prior, had disappeared. I began continuing with her advice of home exercises and taping and resumed Pickleball. The protruding head of my fibula has definitely reduced. I am extremely grateful for Shannon's prompt diagnosis and discovered that all physiotherapist are not the same, some have more training and experience. I would definitely recommend Shannon for any Physiotherapy treatment. Ethel Krentz”Read moreShow less

“I highly recommend Shannon Blackburn as a Physiotherapist. She is very knowledgeable and is not pushy at all. She helped me get walking again after I broke my ankle a few years ago and just recently has been helping me with my knee pain, giving me exercises to do to regain my mobility. I love her sense of humour and have enjoyed our easy banter. She’s great!”Read moreShow less

“So thankful for Norm. I had an accident that left me with foot drop and a contractured lower leg muscle. I had difficulty walking and could not drive. I could not return to work. After 1 year of working with other physio...there was very little difference. I met Norm on a referral from a friend from work and noticed a change within two weeks. 1.5 years later, I am walking and no foot drop , muscle is 95% back and I am driving and back at work. I truly owe it to Norm and all the hard work we did. He always made me feel I could get better and improve. He never gave up and always encouraged me and guided me with exercises and homework. He kept trying things and I appreciate him and his dedication so much. Best physiotherapist around!!!”Read moreShow less

“I have been receiving IMS treatment from Shannon and it’s truly been the best physio treatment I’ve ever received! These needles are not painful and are like a key in the locks of painful areas on my body that need releasing! I’m truly thankful.”mentions Shannon Blackburn →

“I was so impressed with my entire experience. I was having issues with vertigo and Farron was able to help me. Having suffered with vertigo on and off over the years i was very nervous about the treatment and he was extremely patient and thorough, explaining each step and giving me tools to help me through the process.”Read moreShow less

“I had a broken upper humerus bone which lead to major shoulder stiffness and mobility issues in January / 2020 and came across Shannon's name when researching for a physiotherapist with shoulder specialty! I went from hardly able to move my arm to now 9 months later with a great deal of my range of motion back. I have been getting IMS treatments through her which have also been a tremendous help. Still have work to do to get better, but if you are looking for a no-nonsense therapist who will work hard to get you better without scheduling you to come back for unnecessary appointments then look no further than Shannon Blackburn!”Read moreShow less
