“Beware of withdrawal deadline... my daughter tried one class, tried to withdraw and we lost our entire term worth of funds. “Our son participated in the spring camp, and on the fifth and final day, the kids put on a dance/talk-along-style performance. Unfortunately, my husband and other family members left feeling a bit disappointed—not with our son’s effort, but with the lack of care that seemed to go into the production. The instructor narrated while the kids only half-heartedly participated, and there were no costumes or props to enhance the experience. Given the promotional materials and sales pitch before the performance, we were expecting something more engaging and thoughtfully put together. Additionally, our son came home with the same coloring printout multiple days in a row and no other artwork, which made it feel like there was little creativity or variety in the activities. “These guys are passionate about theatre. The teachers bring great energy to the classes and performances, helping lead by example and shaping the end product, though encouraging participation from veterans and newcomers alike. “They are experts in their field - but they focus their time and energy on the students that they know. My teenage daughter tried it out for the first time, but was disappointed that the performance was designed to showcase students giving the big parts and most lines to the kids who have been attending Kaleidoscope for years. All the other students got just cameo appearances, and some of them didn't even have lines at all until they complained.
