“I suffered a work injury to my neck, three years ago that has limited my physical health excessively. I have continued numbness, and no strength in my right arm. I have been desperately looking for something that would help with daily pain, and sleepless nights i have tried physiotherapy, including dry needling, and massage which is a huge help in allowing me not to be lying on a heating pad most of the day. I learned about red light through a tv show focusing on chronic pain, and wellness. I was excited to try Halo Red Light Therapy at Modern Wellness. From the moment I walked in, I knew my decision would my overall health. The treatment is 15 minutes, and less than five minutes in I could notice a difference in my pain. I have also attended seasons with a friend, and they also love the way they feel. During the session the booth grinds sea salt and turns it to vapour, which is amazing for your skin and immune system. Since starting red light, my overall mood daily is better, my pain is manageable, I have very few sleepless nights, and I am able to show up more for my small children. “I had such a wonderful experience at Modern Wellness! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The space itself is spotless, calm, and beautifully maintained! They even offer water and little treats, which was such a thoughtful touch. This was my very first time getting a massage, and I was a bit nervous walking in, but Allison was absolutely amazing. She made me feel completely comfortable and explained everything in a way that immediately put me at ease. “I stumbled upon Modern Wellness when I was have excruciating sciatica pain. From the moment I booked the appointment, the staff went above and beyond to cater to my needs. Jillian goes the extra mile to make sure I was treated by the right person, and that I was comfortable while I waited. She is extremely friendly, and very easy to talk to! I seen 3 different massage therapists when I went there, and all 3 were fantastic. They constantly asked questions about pain tolerance, and they were all 100% professional.
