“I avoided dentist for many reasons but mostly it was fear and past experiences. Having been going to Mill Bay Dental for 8 months now and getting so many problems fixed I find myself looking forward to my appointments. They have been kind and patient allowing me to adjust my perception to reflect how unscary and unpainful visiting Mill Bay Dental really is. Both my eating comfort and health have improved and that is because Mill Bay Dental is the nicest place to go, especially for us dentist resistant scaredy cats. “My husband and I moved to the island a couple of years ago and have been going here. We no longer are. I previously had some work done by a woman I believe to be Mrs Gabani. I feel guilty for saying this because it could be twisted to mean that I’m racist, but between her accent and the mask she was wearing, I couldn’t understand a word I was being told. I didn’t have that issue with Mr. Gabani. Not enough for me to want to change, but it was certainly uncomfortable. My husband had a couple of problems due to the staff being unprofessional. The last time he had his teeth cleaned, it only got half done because the hygienist was talking to other staff way too much. They still charged the full price. The big thing happened a couple of weeks ago. He needs some root canals done to two back teeth on both sides. They were only wanting to do one at a time. He went to the effort to ask the dentist if these could be done at the same time. It was agreed that it could be done. The morning visit to get these done was ridiculous. They were just intending to measure for the crowns and have them ordered. No time was allotted to do root canals and the dentist hadn’t arrived yet. How can you possibly crown teeth that need root canals? So very unprofessional. We are now trying out a new dentist.”
