“Dr. Dave McKnight has been my family doctor for over ten years since before the clinic moved way north on Main Street. Since that move it has been more difficult getting appointments and of course impossible to get a family doctor there for my wife and or daughter. But so goeth the health care system in the province. “Excellent service! Like many, I experience anxiety with dental work. The staff are so reassuring, kind, honest, and efficient. The clinic is clean, in a great location, and they do direct billing for insurance and ministry.”

“I’m going to be leaving this review here regarding the parents as teachers program. This issue clearly isn’t that big to them and I feel like it’s been dismissed a few times now. My son was working with Vanessa Banh from parents as teachers. The other night her and I had a phone call regarding him re entering the program. I have previously worked with Vanessa and this whole ordeal came out of nowhere. The entire phone call Vanessa sat there shaming me for not having him enrolled in the program and for taking a break. I made her very aware when I left earlier this year and my reasons for leaving and I never received a response. I figured that things were left on good terms as there were never any issues previously. Back to the phone call i once again felt very mom shamed. Throughout the phone call she would ask me questions regarding my son and then continue to interrupt me through me answering the questions. Fast forward to the end of the phone call I very kindly said I didn’t appreciate being interrupted. It seemed Vanessa didn’t realize she was working with me earlier this year until the end of the phone call. She began to yell at me over the phone about how I’m banned from the program and she won’t accept me because I’m very rude (her words) and she doesn’t want to work with me. She even proceeded to talk over me even more while I kindly asked her to stop yelling at me and to speak kindly. Vanessa told me her boss pandora doesn’t like me which I find funny considering I have no idea who pandora is and I’ve never met her. I explained to Vanessa I had a very busy summer and suffered a very big loss in my life hence why I wasn’t able to re begin the program earlier as my mental health and the other activities my son was in came first. She told me she “didn’t care” about the loss and that I’m not doing what’s best for my child. I spoke with pandora about it this morning and she mainly defended her behavior and said Vanessa was sorry. I believe she should be apologizing to me herself. I’m extremely unhappy with the way this whole situation has been handled. I’m unhappy that a majority of the blame was placed on me when I did nothing. I have the phone call recorded with the way vanessa spoke to me. Vanessa has since blocked me after I sent her an email yesterday regarding how unhappy I was with the phone call. I’ve taken this to the program director and she doesn’t seem to think it’s a big deal. This is someone working with children! Beyond me why Vanessa felt the need to yell at me. There is no review page for parents as teachers so I’ve left the review where the program is located in this building. Obviously this doesn’t reflect the other employees who work there but mainly Vanessa and her boss Pandora and the director Susan. It’s a bit of a red flag to me that I was asked over the phone to not email the director regarding this. It’s makes me think all 3 of you know you’re in the wrong. This program clearly does not have a suitable employee. No one should leave the phone call crying and shaking. I will not be back in this program as I don’t appreciate being yelled at over the phone in front of my child. If this is who you want working with your child it’s the perfect place for you!”Read moreShow less

“The dental office is useless the two ladies working at the desk refused to even type in my benefits number, mind you it was correct and they ruled out that I have no dental benefits even though I do. I took a day off work for this and it sucks to miss work and lose money and not even get to do my appointment. Get nicer staff at the front desk who are actually willing to try putting the benefits in.”Read moreShow less

The team approach used at the medical clinic ensures there is always someone there to help even if my doctor is not available.
