“I attended this clinic for physiotherapy. I believe the exercises I was given contributed to a severe abdominal strain, and I was off work for about seven months. During that time and afterward, I also experienced severe DOMS when trying to restart exercise, and I do not believe I was adequately warned about the risks of resuming exercise too quickly after a long layoff. When I raised these concerns, my experience was dismissed rather than addressed. I requested compensation and it was refused. I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision.”

“Fist of all its not Linda Pearson ! It's her husband Brian , my Physiotherapist at Meridian is Abhi , Abhi is nothing short of a modern day Miricale worker ! I have been following Abhi around for 6 or 7 years now from clinic to clinic , I had been pushed thru the system for many ,many years after a work related accident , from clinic to clinic to new physio workers ,to NO avail until I met the pherapist that thinks outside the box , in the name of patient pain relief !!! Do yourself a favor if your in chronic pain and can't find relief ,except in a pill or a patch , Go See ABHISHEK (Abhi) .”

“-10000/10, if I could rate this lower I would. The physio therapist misdiagnosed my injury as a “weak core” and gave me exercises that only made my injury worse. When I came back the next week he only spent 5 minutes with me and told me to reduce the exercises.. well I did. To one of each. And now my spine is more messed up. My pain went from 10/10 to 12/10. Please wait to see a different physio therapist clinic if you can.”

“Update. The following day I received a call apologizing for the treatment I received and promising there would be followup with the employee I had dealt with. Hopefully this was a one-off and won’t happen again, as I said in my original write up I had been a patient prior and never had any issues. I just called to book a Dr ordered physio assessment for a swollen ankle. First question was ‘how will you be paying’? When I said I’m a senior so would be ohip covered, she said there would be at least a 3 month wait and she couldn’t book me today. Then ‘click’, she hung up. I was a former patient for a number of years at this location, was still working so covered by benefits, never a problem. Will not be using this company again, they need a new person answering their phones… horrible treatment of seniors.”

“the work of the staff is certainly polite and qualified. they know their stuff. at the first appointment, a survey was conducted about the symptoms and the cause of the pain was determined. massage lasts very little, I would like more in time. pleasant environment. there is a parking lot.”

“Ramesh was a very caring and understanding physiotherapist. They worked with me for multiple weeks to overcome my rotator cuff tear, while staying encouraging despite any setbacks. He took my concerns into account during my rehabilitation, which I believe helped significantly.”

“The level of knowledge and expertise given by all the staff is top notch! I went from being in so much pain all the time, and using mobility aids, to now walking without a cane. I am so pleased with all the help I was given. The staff are all so big hearted and just a joy to be around. I will miss seeing everyone.”

“I was afraid and in pain because of my injury (9/10). I thought the only option is surgery.After six weeks of therapy with Mohammed my confidence increased with the exercises he researched and I’m happy to say the level of pain is down to a three or four (out of 10). I would highly recommend Mohammed. He has gone to Great lengths to improve my results. Mohammed is Creative, thinks outside the box, thoughtful, responsive and really cares about the rehabilitation process as well as the client.”

“Great place, very pleasant and professional staff. All precautions are in place for COVID, and Sam sends a reminder for each appointment. Aleks was thorough and explained all of the exercises to me, checked progress and challenged me, as I recovered from total hip replacement. Very skilled, and I was glad to have this level of expertise as part of the "bundled care" program through OHIP. Private insurance may offer even more, but my 8 visits with Aleks were terrific. Thanks Aleks and Meridian!”

“Super friendly staff, they always remember you and acknowledge you by name. I went to Aleks (physio) who was very knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. He was able to help me with an issue I was having that no other service provider could fix for months, so I was very happy. No messing around, no time wasting or extra unnecessary appointments. Covid protocols are strictly followed, masks are required, screening is done on every visit, and Aleks wore a mask and shield for every appointment. Rooms and any equipment are sanitized between clients. Good location, lots of parking. Note that the main entrance is not accessible; there are a couple of big steps up, a heavy door, and the hallway through the building is very narrow. Accessibility was not an issue for me however, so there may be another accessible entrance that I am unaware of!”
