“Worth every penny. Laura made me feel totally comfortable and for the first time in my life, validated and seen during the initial assessment. Masons attention to detail and patience gives me the confidence to learn the proper way to do each exercise, and I’m feeling positive results. Wish I’d started this in my 20s when things worked better, but at least now I’m better able to deal with pain and other things from my hypermobility.”Read moreShow less

“Highly recommend Mason! If you have hypermobility, you know how hard it is to find a PT who actually gets it. Mason is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He doesn’t just give you a generic exercise plan. He listens and tailors everything to what your body needs. This morning, I woke up feeling widespread super sore and grumpy. Mason came up with a targeted plan, and after going through a few specific movements, my tight muscles instantly relaxed and the soreness decreased significantly. The best part? The movements were completely effortless. It wasn't that frustrating, vicious cycle where you fix one spot but cause pain in another (which usually happens to me). If you are hypermobile, save yourself the trouble and book with Mason!”Read moreShow less

“Both Laura and Mason are fantastic! I feel very validated with them. I have hyper mobility and ever since working with them they’ve helped me understand better than any other physios. I don’t end up usually sticking with physiotherapists for long because they’ve never really done much for me, but they keep me coming back!”Read moreShow less

“I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and I would wholeheartedly recommend MEND-CO Physiotherapy. I am doing a combination of in-person and virtual treatments which has been effective for me. I’ve been working with Mason and Laura for the past 6 weeks and I’ve seen considerable improvements in stability and pain levels. Through my assessment with Laura, it was clear that she knows hypermobile bodies extremely well and the ways that they compensate. Mason is also great at spotting and correcting small adjustments to exercises so that I’m doing them properly. They are a great team! Overall, my exercises are really helping me with my daily tasks and I’m hoping that there is much more improvement to come.”Read moreShow less

“I highly recommend physiotherapist Mason McIntosh. I am so happy to be regaining the use of my arms and shoulders after overuse injuries. The Mend-Co Physiotherapy clinic is the first time I have encountered therapists who really understand, and know how to treat, hypermobility. Mason is patient, attentive, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.”Read moreShow less

“Laura and Mason have been so supportive with learning to strengthen to reduce joint and hypermobility pain more generally. They are both so kind, helpful, approachable, and non-judgmental and have helped me learn a lot about how to work with my hypermobile joints and connective tissue. They are extremely knowledgeable. When I struggle to know where to engage muscles, they provide different cues and persist to help me learn them— I feel that they really understand what is often difficult about PT for hypermobile people. I will definitely recommend them to fellow people navigating hypermobility. Laura began with a very detailed assessment, provided exercises from the first appointment, and has treated me with electroacupuncture which seems to have reduced some upper body pain! Mason has been very helpful with providing exercises and treatment that have helped me with body awareness/proprioception and helped reduce headaches. The app they use for exercises is very good and you can set reminders to remember to do them which is great! Thanks Laura and Mason for your help 🙏😌”Read moreShow less
