“We’ve had a wonderful experience with Dr. Adams for my daughter! From the moment we walked in, the entire staff made her feel comfortable and at ease. They are patient, encouraging, and always take the time to explain what they’re doing in a way she can understand. Throughout her treatment, they were gentle and reassuring, which made a huge difference—especially during the early visits when she was a little nervous. The office is bright, friendly, and very organized, and we never felt rushed or overlooked. Her smile has improved so much already, and the boost in her confidence has been amazing to see. I truly appreciate the care, professionalism, and kindness they’ve shown my daughter. “Was a patient many moons ago (2009-2012), and this is not my actual name (My initials are S and R, you do not need more information than this. I am only sharing this much because I don't need you to accuse me of writing a review for the wrong office the way you have for other negatvie reviews, I am correct in the location I am reviewing, thank you) I suffered a sexual assault a few months before my braces were due to be removed. I was dealing with massive amounts of mental trauma. Because I'd also been in a motor vehicle accident two years prior, I was missing teeth, and had fake teeth attached to a retainer. The office was, may not still, be set up in an open style, with many chairs beside each other. This was never an issue until my last visit but afforded no privacy. After removing the braces with little empathy for my anxiety or comfort level (very painful) I was so ready to leave. Instead, I was forced to stand against the wall and "smile" for a series of pictures. The issue here is that I had missing teeth and was not comfortable with this request. There was no room for negotiation, it was explained, I would not be leaving without these pictures being taken. So with tears streaming down my face, you made me stand against the wall, in front of MANY other patients and their families, your entire crew, and expose my battered mouth. Everyone gawked, I was making a scene. It was horrible and traumatic. Although Dr. Meldrum treated me more than fairly during my treatment, and we made use of the fair payment plan, this was a horrible end to my experience and set all the progress I'd made with dental anxiety right back to square one or worse. It's been almost 20 years now (about 16) and I am still trying to recover from the dental anxiety your practice caused me. I am finally brave enough to share my story after all of this time. Thanks for reading. As it's been over a decade, I can only hope that your team has made advancements in their treatment of patients like myself. “I started my treatment Meldrum in January 2024 and finished in January 2026. My experience with them has been unbelievable, from friendly to professional, I have enjoyed the entire process, when my braces were removed I was really happy with how everything worked out! “Iain Meldrum is impatient and unprofessional. I went for my son's first visit to review his underbite and was left with unanswered questions as he walked out and said "I believe I have answered your questions. " when I asked him if something was wrong, with his face FLUSHED he said "no I have answered all your questions I have another patients" he hadn't answered all my questions. He was recommending something for my son to wear at night to pull his top jaw forward. My concern was that it would be uncomfortable and painful for an 8 year old. He answer was that"most children do well" when I doubled down to ask what type of feedback do you get, he couldn't give me any specifics. Keep in mind you he was recommending a device that could work but it was more than likely he would continue to grow and it would reverse. I think the real problem was that I stated that I would need to review as underbites run in our family, he's still growing, and if it's likely to reverse is it worth the investment. Once he realized the sale was likely off the table he slid his chair back, quickly showing his disinterest. He's not there to help but to sell. I would never recommend here! “We have had a wonderful experience at Meldrum all around. All the staff are warm, caring and professional. They always explain everything and you never feel rushed. The thing that impressed me the most is how punctual they are, we never waited beyond our scheduled time which was important when fitting in early morning visits before school, we were never seen late. “Both my kids went here for their braces and are now both out of them. The results were great, the people there were very nice and booking and billing were both convenient. Pricing was also better than the price quoted by my dentist. Highly recommend!”
