“This place is awesome. My massage therapist is the best ever. I selfishly dont want to share her name because she is already so busy 😜 The girls at front desk are great .. friendly and accomodating . Last winter I had an apt and had car trouble. “It’s taken me a few days to even bring myself to write a review about my experience here because I’m so disturbed by it. I booked a massage at Massage Haven, I wanted a full body since I have been going to the gym. First off, when I pulled the sheet back to get into the bed there was a black hair on it, I was already 10 minutes late so I told myself it was probably a one off scenario, removed the hair, checked the sheets for anything else and since it was just the one hair and it was long I got into the bed. The sheets looked clean other than that. This is not like me, finding a hair on a bed I’m about to lay in is highly disturbing but given the circumstances I just forced myself to lay down. The massage therapist seemed very nice, she started with my legs, and that was ok, but she was massaging behind my knees a lot which was not very relaxing. Then she moved to my back… at first I thought I was going crazy when I felt her nails pinching together, thinking there is no way she is popping a black head on my back right now!! Well, by the 10th pinch I knew this was actually happening!! She proceeded to extract the blackheads on my back for the ENTIRE BACK MASSAGE!!! I get so uncomfortable in certain situations, I was trying to conjure up the bravery to say “what in the hell are you doing?!” But I didn’t.. she then moved to where my head aaa while I was still facing down, and I could see her legs and feet, my eyes were obviously wide open, there wasn’t a chance in Hell I could relax at this point, and she proceeded to extract another black head! After I feel the pinch I’m staring at the floor and I felt her one hand lift off of my back and I could see the shadow of her hand lift up toward where her face would be.. I couldn’t see the shadow of her head so I’m praying she didn’t do what I think she did.. this is all very hard to even write right now.. then she asks me to turn over and starts massaging my neck. I’m thinking at least my back is done.. 😭 the “massage” was over soon after that. I was not planning on tipping, clearly.. but when I got to the front desk they told me it was 100% covered by my insurance. Initially, I was planning on paying the remainder of my balance, and leaving before they realize that I didn’t tip just in case it was confronted because I’ve had that happen before. But since I didn’t have a balance, I knew that they would know I wasn’t tipping and I really didn’t wanna talk about the situation at the time because I was still going over it in my head about what had just happened and how uncomfortable I felt so I tipped $10 then left . I told my friend about what had just happened and she said I needed to call and complain but I couldn’t because I felt so uncomfortable. I was almost in tears and that’s just how I am in certain situations so she decided to call for me and I told her I appreciated it because I could not bring myself to do it at the time. They asked her why I didn’t make the initial call and she told them that it was because I felt so uncomfortable. I didn’t want to talk about it and they said that they were going to pass the message along and have the owner call her back. The owner ended up calling me back, and essentially accused me of lying saying that he has known her for years and he doesn’t know me at all. He completely dismissed the way that I felt and what I said happened. The next day I woke up feeling so violated. It’s embarrassing scenario to begin with, and extremely gross and uncomfortable. The owner of this facility is extremely unprofessional. I would advise anyone to NEVER go to Massage Haven.”Read moreShow less

“The clinic is clean and my massage therapist was very nice - however, she did not seem very experienced. There was no pattern or flow to the massage, just random pressing/pinching in a very rushed manner. I also was scratched many times because of the very quick rubbing, and it felt as though my bones and joints were being dug into instead of my muscles. I couldn’t relax and don’t feel that I got anything out of it. Unfortunately when I expressed this to the front desk staff, there was no offer to waive the fee for the massage, despite how uncomfortable I was during. “I want to say best message I have had! Caroline was professional and had lovely techniques. She makes you feel very comfortable and she knows what she is doing. She pays close attention to detail. I finally have some relief in my left shoulder because of Caroline. I have dealt with shooting nerve pain in my left shoulder for about 3 years.
