“Nice place in a good location. Had a massage with Vanessa Stokx, and wow it was great. I do construction and came in feeling pretty broken. Vanessa not only helped me a lot but gave me some very knowledgeable advice and a plan moving forward. She’s a great RMT, and now I’m really not interested in going to ANYONE else. “Book with Bianca! I’ve been seeing Bianca for almost a year now and Bianca has been amazing. Bianca treated me through my pregnancy and now postpartum, and Bianca has always been so attentive and really feels and listens to what your body needs. Bianca makes sure to focus on the areas you ask for and checks in to make sure you’re comfortable. When I was pregnant, Massage Addict had a belly insert for the table and Bianca always made sure the room was set up and ready for me ahead of time, which I really appreciated. Bianca always goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and taken care of during your appointment. “Vanessa was AMAZING! Very accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable. Like WOW! She really helped me realize I was carrying a lot of pain in my body that I didn't know I had. “I’ve had mixed experiences here and, unfortunately, the reliability and insurance handling have been frustrating. Over the summer, I was told I could submit my remaining balance directly to my insurance. My claim was later denied because the RMT appears to be blacklisted in my insurer’s system, which I was never informed about ahead of time. On another occasion, my appointment was cancelled last minute because the alternate RMT could not accept Sun Life or Manulife insurance, despite insurance coverage previously being listed on my profile. The following week, when I had to cancel last minute myself, I was initially given a hard time and told I would be charged a cancellation fee. The fee was only waived after I pointed out that my appointment had been cancelled on me last minute the week prior. Most recently, my appointment was cancelled less than an hour before. While alternative times were offered, it was during a workday and not realistic for me to move meetings around short-notice cancellations. I also asked about rescheduling around an existing acupuncture appointment on Sunday, which wasn’t possible. When I expressed my frustration, I was essentially told I could speak to the owner, rather than having the issue acknowledged. The treatments themselves are fine, but the repeated last-minute cancellations, inconsistent insurance information, and lack of accountability have made it difficult to continue booking here. Reliability and transparency are important, especially when clients are expected to adhere strictly to cancellation policies themselves.”Read moreShow less
