“Me and my husband have been loyal clients at this location for years and always receive exceptional service. I also book the same deep tissue massage each and every time. but my recent experience with Silvia was completely unacceptable. I booked a deep tissue massage, but when I respectfully asked for more pressure, Sylvia snapped at me, became incredibly argumentative, and spoke to me in a very condescending and insulting manner. For the first time in my life, I had to walk out of a massage not even halfway through because of how rudely I was being treated. I came for a much needed relaxation. No matter how much "expertise" a therapist thinks they have, there is no excuse for treating a paying customer with disrespect. Looking at another review, it seems I’m not the only one who has experienced this exact unprofessional behavior from her. “I had a somewhat disappointing experience at Massage Addict in Legacy. I booked a 60 minute Deep Tissue massage with Silvia, with instructions to focus on my upper back, neck and shoulders, due to pain and tightness/ tension from work and frequent heavy exercise. She started on my legs, and asked me 6 times to “relax” (which I thought I was?) She seemed quite frustrated, and then asked me if I had ever had a deep tissue massage before. I told her yes, multiple times, the last being a couple months ago (also was on my intake form). When she finally got to my upper back/ neck, she told me I should go to a sauna or hot tub, because my muscles were too tight and she was unable to massage them properly. I told her I know they are tight, that’s why I’m getting a massage! She then told me I have “zero shoulder mobility” and gave up on my upper back. The total time spent on my neck/ upper back was less than 15 minutes. She then seemingly rushed through the rest of the massage, mainly focusing on my legs again, and then it was over. The whole thing made me feel quite awkward and uncomfortable, like something was wrong with me and it was my fault that she was unable to give me a proper deep tissue massage. I’ve never had this issue in my previous massages. Besides that, the receptionist was very nice and the facilities were clean, and the direct billing was straightforward. 2.5/5”Read moreShow less
