“After trying 2 Massage therapists and one Physiotherapist I happened to find Marcia. This women has magic fingers. She is very knowledgeable at what she does. She asks lots of questions of what areas are bothering you and pinpoints which muscles to work on. “I am going to miss Marcia so much! She helped me significantly this fall when I hurt my back. I was super impressed with her assessment (which incorporated my gait, ROM, posture etc.), and education pieces for me about my injury, it's origin and ways to prevent it from happening again. She works to alleviate pain, but also to get to the source of the issue which for my back was actually my hips! Marcia got me back on my feet and kept my tight hips and lower back in working order. Also, Marcia has extensive knowledge when it comes to migraine relief, and has magic hands that can seriously bring my pain down. “I first came to see Marcia 3 years ago after a serious rear end collision leaving me with screaming headaches, neck & lower back pain. Marcia attended to me since that time on a weekly basis. During the time that Marcia was waiting to open her own clinic in New Westminster she was working in North Van. & Coquitlam, I tried other massage therapists during that time due to time constraints & my busy job in New West., believe me, none can compare with Marcia ! I eventually traveled to where she was until the new clinic opened. Marcia excels in her profession, and suspects problems often before the medical records come in. She made it possible for me to work through my injuries & I will always be grateful to her. Her room is clean, relaxing & her care exceptional. “On Borrowed Time... I was fortunate to meet Marcia about three years ago post MVA. I could barely drive, and if I sat too long I would have to crawl. After a week long failure with a physio therapist, and a newly licensed chiropractor. I found Marcia. During my initial consultation, Marcia knew the problem and corrected it. I could walk Again! Marcia's superior knowledge of anatomy, and multiple massage disciplines allows her to explain to you in simple language what is happening with your body. Allowing you to develop a relationship with your body and be mindful of those nasty habits that make it angry. Unlike my other providers whose interest were perpetual billing to ICBC. Marcia's priority is providing the care and treatment for each patient according to their needs. Not a one treatment fits all. Marcia definitely change my perspective of a RMT. Not someone who simply rubs bodies. Marcia, assess, resolves and educates her patients. An amazing professional. With mixed feelings I'm sad to see her go.
