Came to check out my lump and they did nothing. They had me in a waiting room for 5 hours straight apparently there's a doctor

Dissapointed that the technician was gossiping, then said they were behind and Iwould have to wait, but was coughing and hacking. As a senior with breathing issues , I had to leave.

In mid November I received excellent care at the Manitoulin Health Centre. I was rushed to hospital in severe pain and Dr. Nelson and the staff at the MHC quickly diagnosed and resolved my issue. Vary grateful for the excellent care I received. Thank You MHC

Needed to get stitches from an accident. Very professional staff. No waiting in emergency. For a small town hospital I felt they did a fantastic job!

Absolutely sickening how long they let people sit there...... No cares at all they just want a pay cheque that's all these doctors want here no motivation to help the community at all and when you decide to go up to see what's happening there rude and don't give a estimate at all just get told to "wait you'll be seen soon"........ This is not the Ontario I grew up in..... Health care has declined to a whole new low...

I was in the hospital for 1 week, many thanks to Dr. Jeffry and the nurses and staff, for taking such passionate and professional care of me. I'm well on my way to recovery. I feel great! Thank you all.! Ken Horsfall.

Like most medical facilities in Canada, they just don’t care about your ailments. Make it seem like it’s all in your head. And even when you tell them everything you’ve tried to make yourself well that hasn’t work, and that you can’t eat/drink/sleep for days, they still recycle the same this to do at home like I already said a billion times I’ve tried those things but okay then. Literally felt so hopeless after leaving today. Don’t know how I’m gonna get through the day

All I hear about this hospital has been negative, people say if you’re non white that the service towards you will be terrible. Super slow service. You will be seen after all the Caucasian people get seen. Even if you are visibly in pain, you still have a long wait. It’s sad that in 2023 that people of colour are still being treated this way! #VoteNewManagementForLittleCurrentHospital or ALL new staff!

If you are a person of colour they will ignore you for hours and let you be in pain. The worst hospital with the worse Drs, and nursing team. Take the drive to HSN to get better care. I have waited in an empty hospital rooms for hours waiting on Drs to come in when they do not stay the night. (Why is it a 24 hour hospital when they only have drs in during 7am to 12 pm that’s 7 hours without drs and the nurses refuse to call them in. I once waited 6 hours while overdosing on medication (they gave me the wrong dosage) because they refused to call the dr in to do anything. When I came in unable to walk I was called an attention seeker, by the Dr and he completely ignored my health refused to do a physical exam or anything. I have a rare spinal defect that I was born with and he said that was lie I didn’t. When my neurosurgeon found the issue during my surgery, to be called a lair and attention seeker was awful. I will do everything to make sure I am able to file a formal complaint against that dr. People like these doctors here should not be practicing with their lack of ability of any knowledge. If you have any type of rare disorder or mental health issues they will out right ignore you. They also do not follow DNR (thanks Dr Barrs for starting CPR when I have a DNR) than proceeded to yell at me, and trying to treat my mental illness outside of the psychiatrist job (the psychiatrist got very mad at the drs and nurses for what they did. They stopped all of my mental health medications and left me to withdrawal from them) Seriously this hospital should be shut down, it’s just an awful hospital. 10/10 I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL. Go else for better care, go here you will end up traumatized from your visit

Great small town hospital with good services and friendly staff. This hospital has a walk-in clinic, doctors offices, emergency department, physiotherapy, imaging services, obstetrics, optometry, minor operations (scopes mostly), dialysis, acute care, and prenatal care. Wait times are generally short, doctors are well trained with a good bedside manor, and nurses are caring. I don't spend much time here luckily, but it is a solid hospital when I do. There is also emergency helicopter transportation for really serious incidents.
