“After one week I want to share my absolutely unacceptable experience. My nails are completely over-filed to the point they became paper thin and painful. Nails are literally damaged from how aggressively they drilled it down. The shape is uneven, the cuticle work is messy, and my natural nails are now weak and sensitive. I paid to have my nails done, not destroyed. The photos speak for themselves. I would never trust this salon again.”Read moreShow less

“I've gotten my nails done here around 4 or 5 times now and in my whole life i have never come across this bad of a job. I got this refill approximately 8 days ago. Mind you in these 8 days the only thing ive been doing in walking. No washing dishes no cooking no cleaning nothing that would require my hands. They also did not do my cuticles. “This was my first time at this salon and unfortunately it was not one of my best experiences. I booked a group appointment for 6pm. Upon arrival, all techs were busy and we were waiting for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. There seemed to be confusion with our bookings, and I also booked with a specific tech but received a different person. The tech was friendly and patient but I am disappointed with the results considering the price paid. The shaping was fine, but there was gaping around the edges, and the underside of my nails were messy and not at all cleaned. I knew we finished my set right at closing time so I left them as is and decided to go back another day to get them cleaned up. “I am SO unhappy with the nails that I had done today. It was such a simple request - a solid colour on short almond nails. Multiple times I had to point out that the nails were too wide and I also pointed out that the nails looked very flat. The nail tech (whose name I didn’t get because no one is wearing name tags) said that she wasn’t done filing yet and would go over anything with the nail drill and it would fix everything. She also cut me 4 times with the nail file!!! She did zero nail prep other than going over my nails with the nail drill.. as soon as she was done filing, the gel was already lifting on at least 2 nails! At this point I had already pointed out so many other issues.. what was she really going to do about the lifting? File off the gel and reapply it the same way so it can lift again? I just sucked it up to get it over with because this SIMPLE service had already taken 1hr and 45 mins of my day and there aren’t even any designs! I left very unhappy, my nails were so bumpy looking and the ones that weren’t bumpy were just FLAT. No shape or structure to them. I can’t believe I paid $70 for this. This was my first and VERY LAST time at this nail salon.. I don’t understand how their instagram account has so many nice nails but I got this garbage. UPDATE: Following the response from the owner, I called and they had me come in and Anna completely removed my nails and did a completely new set of bio gel nails for me. “I absolutely love Mani n Nails! 💅 Kim and Linh always does such beautiful work on my nails and takes such great care. They are also very kind and welcoming. I actually come from 5 hours away, and whenever I’m in town this is the only place I’ll go to get my nails done. The service is wonderful and the results are always gorgeous!
