“I booked a 90-minute massage with Hossein at King St Massage & Wellness ($165) and came in specifically looking for deep tissue and trigger point work. I noted tightness in my upper back, traps, and hips on the intake form, which I felt clearly outlined what I was looking for. The massage itself was relaxing, but overall it felt very general and not targeted. There wasn’t much focus on the problem areas I identified, and the treatment felt more like a routine, going through the same motions on each side rather than addressing specific tension points. I was expecting more pressure and a more intentional approach to working out tight areas. After the session, I mentioned that I wasn’t overly impressed and was hoping for more targeted work. I was told I could have said something during the massage, which is fair, but in my experience, the purpose of the intake and a skilled RMT is to assess and adjust pressure and focus areas proactively. For a 90-minute session at this price point, I was expecting a more personalized and effective treatment. While it was relaxing, it didn’t stand out, and I wouldn’t return based on this experience.”Read moreShow less

“Great deep tissue massage! Hossein was responsive to scheduling the appointment and attentive with his treatment. One thing that would make the massage better is if less massage oil is used and a different oil too - my skin was burning a bit from it.”
