“Highly recommend. Ricky is so knowledgeable about glasses. He can add nose-pads to many of the optical frames and can even custom-design spectacle frames - you choose the shape and colour - he can even include fabric of your choice.”

“When my wife’s expensive optical glasses frame broke, we visited a few optical shops to find someone to repair them, but none had the means to do so. Then, after a search on Google my wife found Lunettes Art Lab. As we entered the premises, we were impressed by the display of professional tools, machines,art and books all dealing with optical, as well as rich assortment of high quality frames. Rick the artist, assured us that he can repair the broken frame in a short time. As we were due to reexamine our vision, we both booked appointments and eventually replaced our glasses for top quality Hoya lenses, Rodenstock and other frames,all professionally advised, fitted and adjusted to our eyes by Rick. Not only we will return for any future optical business to Lunettes Art Lab, but will strongly recommend their services to family friends and anyone. We already sent our daughter to Lunettes and she is very happy with their service and her new glasses. Thanks Rick and staff.👓👓👍”

“This place is incredible and goes above and beyond your normal optometrist. There are so many hidden gems that make this place unique! There is an art gallery upstairs, the space is created by the lovely Yoo jin and you can design and make your own frame!! Which no other place does, Ricky makes it all by hand and in such great detail! He even showed me a frame he made with built- in Bluetooth speakers! Incredible! The fact that he can make you your very own frame I feel eliminates the problem we have with not being able to find a frame that is exactly what we want (e.g a frame that is the right colour, shape & fit) and having to settle with something we just like, instead of loving it like we should!! Ricky gave me the coolest bag, cleaning cloth and let me make my own little cute key chain. Ricky and Yoo Jin are such lovely & kind hearted people that have so much passion for what they do.”

“Back in 2019, I purchased a pair of oversized Gucci Mask sunglasses. Unfortunately, the nose bridge was a little too wide for me. So I searched online for someone that specialises in this kind of issues. After a thorough search, I found Ricky Lim’s ‘Plastic Syndrome’! A couple of text and emails after, I felt comfortable to send him my newly purchased Gucci Mask (GG1244S) sunglasses. He recommended the N1 service (to add adjustable nose pads). A week after, I got them back and I was blown away with the craftsmanship and the fit was perfect! 🤩Since then, I have enjoyed wearing them and his great work has given me the confidence to buy any eyewear I like because I know Ricky has the solution for it! 😉 Recently, Ricky with his new business called ‘Lunettes Art Lab Sydney’, fixed 2 more designer sunglasses and they are the YSL Blaze and the Gucci (1255S).
