“I chose this optometrist/glasses shop based on good reviews and its proximity, and booked an appointment specifically for specialized testing due to my significant vision impairment. When scheduling my appointment, I clearly requested these tests and was assured they would be included in my exam. During my exam, I was told by the optometrist that he does not perform the test I had explicitly requested. I only received part of what I had booked despite being very specific about the exams needed when I booked my appointment. When I raised this issue with staff, there was confusion and a lack of awareness about the doctor’s capabilities telling me they weren’t aware he doesn’t do that test because he is new, which is unacceptable. I had taken time off for this appointment, knowing one of the tests I requested would impair my vision for hours on end. Instead of being apologetic and rectifying or attempting to resolve the issue, the male staff member who seemed in charge that day was dismissive, asked irrelevant and personal questions, and made the interaction very uncomfortable in an unprofessional manner so much so that I felt the need to leave immediately. I left without the care I needed and would not recommend this place due to poor communication and unprofessional conduct.”Read moreShow less

“I brought in a pair of lenses I had purchased elsewhere over a decade ago, to ask if someone could help me fix them (because they were rare designer lenses, no other place I had tried wanted to touch them). “Not satisfied with the optometrist or salesman. Felt coerced to buy expensive frames and expensive lenses. Even to the point that he said he would give me a receipt dated in the future to correspond with my insurance kicking in, but he never did and never brought it up again after I paid. And the optometrist cancelled my appointment twice before getting to see him. Not professional at all.”Read moreShow less
