“I have e been a client here and recently had a very disappointing experience with their customer service and how they handle cancellations. A few months ago, while pregnant and sick with influenza, I had to cancel my appointment with less than 24 hours notice. I was charged 50% of the service fee, and although it was not ideal, I understood and respected their policy without arguing about it. What I found unfair is that they recently cancelled my own appointment with less than 24 hours notice due to an internal issue, yet there was no consideration, compensation, or benefit offered to the client despite the inconvenience caused. Their cancellation policy seems to only apply when clients cancel, not when the clinic does. What disappointed me the most was the tone of their response. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience, they emphasized that when I cancelled, they had “only” charged me 50%. They also stated that they “strive to maintain transparent and consistent policies” while suggesting that if their policies were “not the right fit” for my expectations, they would be happy to provide a list of nearby clinics. The response felt unnecessarily passive-aggressive and dismissive rather than empathetic or customer-focused. I completely understand that unexpected situations happen on both sides, but consistency and respectful communication matter. “I cannot say enough good things about Kimberly at Luminescence Wellness. From the moment you walk in, she is incredibly professional, warm, and makes you feel completely at ease. I was genuinely nervous to start treatment because of pain I was dealing with, but Kimberly eased me in so thoughtfully and respectfully — I’ve never felt more comfortable during an RMT session. What really sets her apart is how intentional and skilled her work is. She knows exactly what she’s doing, works with confidence and care, and every treatment feels personalized rather than routine. You can tell her compassion is real and natural, not something that’s put on. She’s deeply knowledgeable, incredibly respectful, and truly cares about her clients as people.
