CANCELLATION POLICY: Your appointment time is reserved just for you. Late cancellations or missed visits leave a gap in the clinician’s day that could have been filled by another client in need of support. To help us serve everyone better, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Clients who provide less than 48 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged the full session fee (which we truly don’t like doing and hope to avoid!).
ONLINE BOOKING: All new accounts require a credit card in order to book a full session (50 minutes or more). Any Psychologist appointments that do not have a credit card on file at least 24 hours before the appointment may be cancelled by the clinic. When I began therapy, I always had the mindset that therapists only cared because you paid them to listen to your problems. I don't believe that anymore - I feel as though Gary truly cares for my wellbeing. “Unfortunately the person I first saw was not a good fit for me (they were very inexperienced). I tried to cancel my next appt and was rudely told I’d be charged the full $200. It was tough because I’m not familiar with this type of clinic and I was not provided with any other options. My whole experience left me feeling that they cared a lot more about profits than a good fit leading to successful outcomes for their clients. The whole thing would have been different if the clinic director and admin were clear and polite with me.
