Excellent clinical experience here! Looking forward to my benefits resetting in September, so I can buy new progressives! Thank you for your expertise and kindness! Great to have such a clinic in my neighbourhood.

I had a very disappointing experience with this store. About three years ago, I bought a pair of Gucci glasses here for about $600. The frame has  now been broken twice by staff at this store. The first time, the frame broke about two hours after I received them after it had been adjusted at the store. I was just sitting on the couch and the frame shattered on my face with the broken piece scratching and slightly cutting the area above my ear. They then replaced the frame under warranty. Most recently, I paid about $200 to replace the prescription lenses with sunglasses lenses. When I went to pick them up last week the staff adjusted the frames and they snapped it again. This time they broke it right in front of me and then tried to hand me the broken glasses. Even though the staff broke the frame, I was told it would cost $98 for a replacement and they could do nothing because I signed the waiver. I didn’t feel comfortable paying more money since my glasses had already been damaged by the store twice, so I just took them home broken as I am not going to give them another $98 for a replacement piece to have them break it a third time and then charge me more money and say you signed the waiver so we are not responsible. After I got the lenses a couple years ago i only used them actively for about six months and would wear less expensive frames for daily use. They were in near mint condition. It was very disappointing to see such an expensive pair of glasses damaged like this. The staff’s attitude was also very poor. There was no apology, and the person I spoke to would barely make eye contact while talking. When the frame was repaired the first time years ago, they even complained that the store had to pay Gucci for the replacement. When adjusting the frames, they didn’t properly check how the glasses fit around my ears or on my face — they only asked if it felt tight or loose. Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying glasses from this store. ➖ Thank you for your response. I will to clarify a few points so readers can have a fulsome understanding of what happened. My review reflects my personal experience and was not written to mislead anyone. The second incident occurred during an adjustment performed by staff in front of me at the store, when the frame snapped while being handled by an employee. When the glasses were originally purchased several years ago, the first time the frame broke was mere hours after they were given to me, and then took it back to be replaced. After this I only used the glasses for about six months, as I mostly wore a different pair for daily use. So the frames have sat in their case for around 3.5 years. Because of this, it was surprising that the frame broke again during the adjustment. Yes, I signed the waiver acknowledging the risk involved with adjusting the frame and for it you are not liable for the damage. However, signing a waiver does not change the fact that the frame broke during the service at your store and does not change the fact that I previously had a pair of glasses in good condition and now I have a broken pair of glasses. Describing my review as “blatantly untrue” is therefore not accurate. My review simply describes what happened from my perspective as a customer and how I felt the situation was handled. Readers can consider both perspectives and make their own judgment. If you have banned me from your store that is fine, I will happily take my business else where.

I haven't been in for an eye exam in 8 years. Making an appointment was very easy. The actual exam was taken care of. They didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't require. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I will be going back when I require new glasses.

My annual checkup went very smoothly, from the initial data collection by the tech person to the thorough examination by Dr Bachra. All my questions were answered in sufficient detail to satisfy me. The appointment started on time and was well handled. No issues.

I've been a patient of Dr Bachra for more than 5 years. She is a very skilled and thorough optometrist. I know I will always have high quality eye care during my visits. She has helped me with my dry eyes that were getting frequently infected so that I can continue to wear contacts, which is my preferred method of eye correction, while maintaining happy healthy eyes. Her staff is just as thorough and skilled when purchasing glasses, they always ensure the right fit and comfortable feel. I've moved from New West to Vancouver a couple years ago, but I still travel to see Dr Bachra even though there are other optometrists much closer to me. I've had really bad experiences with other eye doctors and their staff in the past, so once I found Lifetime, I've stayed with them.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dr. B and the entire team were absolutely wonderful! The clinic was spotless and the atmosphere was so serene—it instantly put me at ease. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming; it felt more like catching up with old friends than a typical appointment. The fitting for my glasses was seamless and stress-free. Dr. B made the experience personal and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for exceptional eye care in a calm, professional setting!
