“What a wonderful experience I had at Lifemark Physiotherapy in Upper Tantallon, NS! First impressions were 5-star. Ramona, the administrative assistant was friendly, engaging, and efficient. Justin, the physiotherapist, was personable, caring, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I was given helpful exercises for homework accompanied by demonstration videos. “I have completed about 5 sessions with Lifemark Physiotherapy at the Tantallon location and so glad I found them. I had a rotator cuff injury and within the first couple of sessions Julia had me push from 50% range of motion to close to normal and now I'm back at 100% and working on strengthening. Everyone from the front desk to the the other Physiotherapists are super friendly and the location itself is clean and inviting with lots of parking. Can't recommend them enough.”Read moreShow less

“Booked in with Julia as she had many good reviews posted here. I can not speak to her skill in particular as I have had both of my initial appointments cancelled, a week apart, with very short notice- 1 hour and 2.5 hours. Did not bother wasting time to rebook at this clinic.”Read moreShow less

“I had physio at Tantallon Lifemark with Julia after strange kind of back pain wouldn’t go away. Julia was a very good listener, and remembered little details that mattered later. She put extra time and thought into finding the source of my problem and then helped me to solve it. As a Physio myself, I appreciate the effort and her direct communications. “I had a large hematoma following surgery and the medical professionals suggested it should go away after "a few months". After speaking with two physiotherapists and two nurses they convinced me I should have someone immediately assess my condition so I visited Julia MacDonald at Lifemark Tantallon. This clinic has been outstanding in their personal approach to understanding my situation. Julia is my physio and was able to assess my post surgery symptoms, design a specialized therapy regime and setup a personalized appointment schedule all during the first session. The results... my hematoma has been reduced to 90% of its size after only three weeks of therapy! Plus she has been able to mobilize my muscles and eliminate muscle cramping and nerve pain at the same time. And I fully believe Julia had my best interests in mind by not dragging the process or sessions out. “I have been going to Tantallon Lifemark and previously the Physioclinic clinic for some time for work related injuries. I have always found the reception staff friendly and very accommodating. The physiotherapist Julia is amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable and puts you right at ease. She has been able to always bring my injuries under control with her hands on approach and recommended follow up exercises. “After a slip and fall my sister recommended Lifemark Physiotherapy. The experience started at the door with the friendly and welcoming staff who did their best to accommodate my schedule and continued throughout the examination and therapy with Julia who was incredible! She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She even made a video of me doing my exercises so I would remember how to do them properly.
