“I've never fully benefited from physiotherapy until I started seeing the amazing team of physiotherapists (previously Adam Morrison & now Amber Mawson) and kinesiologist (Addy Abdurahman) at Lifemark. Their expertise, care and guidance have been instrumental in my recovery of various injuries over the years and I'm so grateful to each of them for their support. Most recently, I injured my back and I had the opportunity to work very closely with Addy. During my sessions with her, each assessment was tailored to helping me manage my pain while also focused on regaining muscle strength in key core and back areas. That gave me so much hope, especially when my motivation was already low from the injury and I wasn't able to do many of my usual outdoor activities. Her recovery plan has been a game changer for not only healing my low back pain, but has also greatly contributed to my overall strength and fitness levels. “If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. No words can express the gratitude I have for the team at Lifemark Squamish - especially Amber. I came in last October with a complete ACL tear, meniscus root tear and an MCL tear… surgery seemed inevitable….. but after several months of working with Amber, my surgeon is not recommending surgery because I was progressing so well!
