I received physiotherapy from Yalcin Dunbar for bilateral osteoarthritis in both knees through OHIP-covered treatment, and I am very grateful for the excellent care I received. From my first appointment, Yalcin made me feel safe, comfortable, and confident in my treatment plan. He was patient, welcoming, and always took the time to explain my exercises and answer my questions. His encouragement and expertise gave me confidence throughout my rehabilitation. I also looked forward to our conversations during each session, which made the experience enjoyable and helped put me at ease. Yalcin treated me with kindness, respect, and genuine compassion. My only disappointment was that, because my treatment was covered by OHIP, the number and length of the sessions felt too limited. Just as I felt the treatment was beginning to have a real effect, my sessions came to an end. This is a reflection of the funding limits, not the quality of care I received from Yalcin. I highly recommend Yalcin to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and professional physiotherapist. Thank you for making such a positive difference in my recovery.

I've been coming to Lifemark Physio on Dufferin for the past couple of weeks to help from a rear-end car accident, and the care has been outstanding. Sudeshna(aka Sue) has been amazing throughout my recovery. She's knowledgeable, attentive, friendly and has really been a great help. I also had a session with Akrutiben, who was equally professional and caring. The whole team is friendly, and the clinic has a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Lifemark Physio to anyone looking for excellent physiotherapy care.

I've been coming to this location for a while now, and it has been by far the best treatment experience I've had since my knee surgery. From the front office staff to the physiotherapists and kinesiologists, everyone is professional, friendly, and genuinely cares about your recovery. They've made the rehabilitation process easy and I've seen excellent progress. Highly recommended

Receptionist needs to be better organized as a recent appointment I had was cancelled in error by the clinic. I originally gave it one star however management was very proactive in resolving the matter. Overall, the place is great to go and get healed as the workers are top-notch. This rating Would be higher if not for the receptionist.

Everyone at the clinic was very helpful. I am grateful to all the staff especially I would like to thank Akruti for assessing me with full understanding of my pain and Yalcin for his precise understanding and teaching me methods to diminish my everyday back pain .Yalcin is absolutely ivery knowledgeable, answered every question I had, and corrected my posture while showing me the right way to do the exercises. I would also like to say that the girl HOPE at the front desk also has total knowledge of all and treats you with a cheerful smile ,,,,I definitely recommend this clinic. Everyone here is skilled, professional, and very kind.

Overall assessment: Unsatisfactory and harmful. The services provided were process-driven rather than patient-centred. Quality of care: Care did not follow treating-provider medical directives. Clinical decisions appeared influenced by insurer expectations instead of medical necessity, resulting in interrupted treatment and deterioration. Respect and dignity: Concerns were minimized rather than addressed. The experience increased distress instead of providing support. Communication: Information was incomplete and selectively framed. Key clinical context and physician instructions were not accurately reflected. Follow-up was delayed or absent. Independence and objectivity: There was a clear appearance of conflict between patient care and contractual obligations. Recommendations aligned with insurer interests rather than documented medical evidence. Impact on health: The handling of care contributed to destabilization, loss of treatment access, and significant psychological harm. This outcome was foreseeable and preventable. Accountability: No effective mechanism existed to correct errors, amend reports, or address documented concerns. Responsibility was deflected rather than assumed. Would I recommend Lifemark: No.

My wife was sent by her doctors for physiotherapy. The first time was for her Meniere's Disease in February 2017 for vestibular rehabilitation therapy with Barbara. The second time was for her right hip surgery for total hip replacement in October 2024 and that was with Sylvia. The third time was for her both knees surgery for total knee replacements both done at the same time in October 2025 and that was with Sylvia. My wife was happy with all the staff, with the receptionist Hope and all the rest. They help you with your exercises and explain how to do it the right way. They are all very professional. Anna M.G.
