“My wife had an abrupt and aggressive vertigo spell a few days ago at time of writing. She couldn't move without being violently sick. We were referred to Level Up by the Grey Nuns. By this point, we were pretty defeated, we weren't holding out much hope for a solution beyond waiting things out, but our first visit with Blair changed all that. He explained things thoroughly, gently, and beautifully, and he was very knowledgeable and compassionate. It was frankly amazing to watch my wife sit up after a few tests and remark at how her dizziness almost completely subsided. We had a follow up appointment the next day that she aced, and we were on our way, with Blair happily telling us to resume our daily lives. I cannot recommend this business enough. I will genuinely be going out of my way to reach out to Grey Nuns and telling them that this referral was perfect, in addition to telling everyone else possible about it that may be suffering with vertigo. Now, I will often see businesses with exceptionally high ratings on Google and reflexively become skeptical of them. This business, however, fully deserves a bright five stars. “I went to see Blair at Level Up after being diagnosed with PPPD and at the urging of my family doctor. Admittedly I started with a bit of skepticism. What a difference Blair has made in my life, he literally gave me my life back. When I first went in I couldn't even drive myself there, now I have no problem driving to see him. As well I am now doing things that I thought I would never be doing again. Blair's approach has always been kind, thorough and geared towards me. No cookie cutter approach for this guy! His office and treatment areas are designed for people with vertigo, dizziness and concussion issues. Soft lighting no bright colours, a very calming and relaxing atmosphere. Blair was very thorough, calm, detailed in his work and very patiently answered all my questions. “Blair is an excellent vestibular physiotherapist. I have not met any other people in the field in this city who are as knowledgeable as him. He brought me back from the depths of misery and gave me my life back! He doesn't plaster a typical one for all program unto his patients. He does a thorough assessment, listens to your feedback and symptoms, and if something doesn't work he is quick to adapt changes into the treatment plan. I feel privileged to have met Blair and cannot thank him enough. The facility itself is extremely well kept and clean. I would recommend him to anyone who needs vestibular rehabilitation.
