“I was researching different physiotherapy clinics to help with my left leg and came across Leading Edge Physio in Spruce Grove. At first, it seemed very promising, but after my most recent appointment, I left feeling disappointed. I explained that my goal is to fully heal and strengthen my leg so I can safely train for a 5K run and improve my overall health. While my leg has improved, it is still not 100%, which is why I am continuing physiotherapy. During the appointment, the physiotherapist did not seem very interested in continuing to help me progress. When I asked if I would be receiving new exercises, I was made to feel as though I should already know what to do. The way the exercises were explained came across as if it was “common sense” and that I should have already been doing them on my own. That was frustrating because the entire reason I am attending physiotherapy is to receive proper guidance and support so I do not injure myself further. I also felt uncomfortable when discussing future appointments. There seemed to be hesitation about booking me in again, which left me feeling unwelcome. I am not attending physiotherapy casually and I genuinely want professional support to regain strength, recover properly, and work toward being able to run safely again. Now I feel frustrated because I may need to start over somewhere else. I am hopeful that the next physiotherapy clinic I choose will be more supportive, encouraging, and motivated to help me achieve my recovery and running goals.”Read moreShow less

“I first visited Leading Edge in early December 2025 for physio on a knee injury. I had 4 sessions with Stefan who was such a friendly and caring person and helped me a lot. He reassured me and explained about the injury and took time with me. The other staff were all friendly and called you by your first name as soon as you entered the clinic. Unfortunately just before Christmas I broke my ankle. I had an appointment with Stefan re my knee scheduled just after Christmas but had to cancel it due to being in hospital. It was not a problem and they all wished me well and looked forward to seeing my on my recovery journey. After discharge from hospital in mid January my surgeon finally said that I could start physio. Straight away I called Leading Edge who were pleased to hear from me and asked how I was doing. Due to weather and my mobility I asked for a late appointment and so opted to have sessions with Adam as he was working late on days I could come. I received a great welcome back and Adam was great. He worked gently with my calf ligament and muscles and suggested laser treatment to help healing my wounds and scars (my outside ankle has a deep wound/scab still healing) and swelling. He also suggested to do gravity walking and off I went to work on the machine. The gravity walking has helped so much with my movement and walking and after just 4 sessions on that found that my foot pressure was coming back to near normal. I think it is Lauren (sorry if name not right) who monitors me on the machine and she is so friendly and chats away and encourages me so much. As soon as Stefan came back from leave he came over to check on me to see how I was getting on. I have quite a healing journey ahead but Leading Edge are helping me so much especially with their state of the art equipment. I thoroughly recommend them to anyone and even my Surgeon was impressed with the amount of care an support I have been given and how it has helped me progress so well. She was also impressed with equipment that I was working on and definateley said it would aid my recovery so much. Leading Edge is the place to go for any injury and you will be blown away by their care and commitment to you. Thank you Adam, Stefan and the whole team.”Read moreShow less

“I have nothing but great things to say about Aidan Mueller and Leading Edge Physiotherapy in Spruce Grove. My first visit was in May 2025. I had tried everything for my acute tennis elbow (regular physio, acupuncture, cortisone injections) and nothing helped. I was doing some research online and came across Leading Edge Physiotherapy offering Shockwave Therapy saying that it can be very successful in treating tennis elbow. Being at my wits end with the pain, I decided to give it a try. I was booked with Aidan and, I’ll admit, I was a little unsure at first because he seemed so young (around the same age as my sons) but he quickly put all my hesitation to rest. Aidan is incredibly personable, kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. Because he’s in the same age group as my sons, I actually found him very easy to relate to. As for the Shockwave Therapy, which only took about 5 mins once a week for approximately 5 weeks, my elbow has been completely pain free since then. Their facility is big, bright and very clean. Love that they have clients wash their hands upon arrival. Front desk staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient and Alex who does the heat and tens for me is very kind. I have recently been back to Aidan with some knee pain. He used manual therapy together with Laser and my knee pain is now gone. So thankful to have found Aidan and I would highly recommend him and Leading Edge to any of my family and friends.”Read moreShow less

“I have unfortunately required physio for a few different injuries over the last couple years and I was lucky enough to find Stefan at Leading edge in Spruce Grove. He has helped me get out of extreme pain and back to living life! Depending on the injury they’ve used everything from manual techniques to needling to all the different shocky things :) The always know what works! It’s easy to get an appointment and everyone is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the door. I was referred by my dad who had great results and my hubby too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!”Read moreShow less

They know you by name and treat you like a friend, all while really helping you out. Thank you my friends !”Read moreShow less

“I’ve been going to leading edge for over two years. At the start I couldn’t get a diagnosis for my foot pains that were so severe I could barely walk, couldn’t work and had a 6 month old son. Stefan and the staff at leading edge got me back to work and through the pain till I could get a proper diagnose that I am currently on the waiting list for surgery to correct it! They helped me through some incredibly hard days and i look forward to having Stefan and everyone at Leading Edge on my side for the recovery and rehabilitation post surgery! I’ve been to many doctors and therapists throughout the past years, this is the only place I leave with a smile on and confidence that I am receiving the best treatment I could get everytime! I have recommended Leading Edge to family and friends and will continue to recommend them to anyone having pains or problems!”Read moreShow less
