“Dr. Allen Sun was my dentist since I was a kid, unfortunately I moved out of town and I was told by my other dentist to leave a great review for Dr. Sun because my new dentist is very impressed and pleased with my teeth from all the amazing work done on them! My now dentist said this is the best work he has ever seen done by another dentist ! “I wanted to share my “AMAZING” experience at Laurentian Dental this week. YES, I DID say amazing …. probably sounds weird but I am actually serious. I was scheduled for a root canal with ‘Dr. Ramos’ who I met at my last hygienist’s appointment. Right away I knew we were a good fit as a team. He explained step-by-step what the process would entail as well as potential risks. Being a detailed person myself and interested in knowing as much as possible, it was very comfortable conversation. He also was very open to questions and realistic, as was his dental assistant. It started with pre-freezing on the gum above the (canine) tooth (moistened gauze pad), then novocaine injections with the needle. Needles are usually the worst part …. hehe but I felt nothing and the gum is thinner there than it would be further back around the rear molars. Dr. Jo (Ramos) was methodical and meticulous during the root canal process which I very much appreciated. In addition, his dental assistant was very, very efficient and helpful, also taking care of the x-rays. In the process, a leaky filling was discovered on the same tooth, so it only made sense to replace it while i was already frozen. Once again, a super job by the dental team. Finally, I had absolutely no pain or needle bruising once the freezing wore off. So, THAT is how I arrived at AMAZING. I would also like to add that the ladies at the front desk are very efficient and friendly, so a 10/10 to all.”Read moreShow less

“I had an appointment at 2:10 with 'Dr. Laura'. I arrived att 1:45, was greeted and told I was checked in. I sat in the waiting room and watched the olympics on my phone. There are 2 tvs, which are off, no magazines, or water. Not very 'welcoming'. Other patients arrived and were taken away. The olympic hockey period was ending and I checked the time: 2:25. I got up and left. At 2:55 I got a call asking if I had left, 'yes I had'. 'Are you coming back?' 'Nope' . So half an hour after i left, you realized i was gone, wow! Then explained that from a customer point of view, this is horrible customer service. I arrived on time, you left me sitting with no update for 15 mins after my start time. Customer service is an exchange: i give my time and money, and I get service. You didn't give me any service, so I stopped letting you steal my time. Figure your stuff out. If I had missed my appointment, you would have billed me. Where is the respect for my time and money?”Read moreShow less
