“Parents, be very cautious before committing to treatment with Lauren Reznick. We sought help for our newborn’s feeding difficulties during an extremely stressful and vulnerable time. Lauren was quick to provide a false/wrong diagnosis of a tongue Tie and strongly encouraged us to do the surgery and book additional appointments. As concerned parents, we trusted her professional opinion and were prepared to proceed with the recommended surgery and treatment plan. Before doing this surgery, we decided to obtain second opinion from another professional clinic. Without any knowledge of Lauren’s assessment, The other clinic identified a different issue and when we mentioned what Lauren suggested they were SHOCKED that the actual cause of our baby’s feeding problems had not been recognized earlier by her and our newborn was at high risk of malnourishment if we delayed further. It had absolutely nothing do do with a tongue tie and Lauren is well known to sell this and cash in! The new Clinic diagnosed the issue, and instead of evasive surgery and additional appointments. We Instantly we saw progress. Looking back, we felt that the focus was placed more on surgery and scheduling additional appointments and selling than on properly identifying and addressing the underlying problem. The recommendations we received would have resulted in significant additional costs and our baby suffering longer, and the actual issue affecting our child would have remained unresolved and would be at risk to harm our child. Our experience left us feeling that financial gain was prioritized over providing accurate and effective care. When parents are seeking help for a struggling newborn, they are often exhausted, worried, and willing to do whatever is necessary for their child. In our case, we felt that trust was misplaced and that unnecessary surgery was being pushed while the real problem went undetected. We would strongly encourage parents to seek independent second opinions before agreeing to extensive treatment plans and surgery. Lauren was quick to assess and even quicker to use your vulnerability to money grab and ignore the actual issue. I’ll also add that this clinic sells toys and gadgets that can be purchased on Amazon for a lot cheaper and has a no refund/return policy. That alone says a lot. This clinic felt less like a healthcare clinic and more like a retail store looking for its next sale. The focus seemed to be on selling products and booking more appointments rather than providing meaningful help.”Read moreShow less

“I’m grateful that our LC referred us to Lauren when our little one was quite young! She is an amazing source of knowledge and expertise, and was a great collaborative partner as we navigated challenges with our baby’s oral function. This included holistic treatment and recommendations for body work as well as extensive exercises etc prior to proceeding with a tongue and lip tie release. “We went to see Lauren when my daughter was about 3 months old. We saw multiple lactation consultants, paediatricians, physiotherapists and chiropractors who all gave me different answers. We tried everything and nothing seemed to help. We finally saw Lauren and she was great. She was very understanding of our situation and diagnosed her with a tongue tie and worked with her to prepare her for a tongue tie release. “If you couldn't get an appointment or nobody got back to you in the past 2 weeks, TRY AGAIN!!! There is a new receptionist Yvonne who got us in to see Andrea next day! We were previously referred to this clinic for our son's feeding and tongue tie issues when he was less than 18 months old. They put us on a waitlist and nobody contacted us until at least 4-6 months later!! We ended up going elsewhere for help. Our son is now 3 years old and we needed to see an SLP with experience in feeding aka Andrea Chance. ANDREA IS AH-MAZING!!!!! She is extremely experienced, connects with children, fun, energetic. My only complaint is that I cannot take her home with me!! Our 3 year old is temperamental, shy, doesn't listen but she kept him engaged the whole hour and he loved playing with her and asked to come back to see her. I now understand why the Lauren Reznik clinic comes so highly recommended and now that they have a proper front staff, things should only improve!
