“I had a great overall experience at LASIK MD. Although I was not a candidate, my husband was and had surgery with Dr. Johnson. The whole experience was smooth, professional, and reassuring. The staff were kind and made the entire process comfortable from start to finish. Huge thanks to Trif, Josh, Peter, Emilie, and Trina for their support throughout the visit. I also want to acknowledge the staff at TLC Laser Eye Centres. Even though we ultimately decided to proceed with LASIK MD, they were still very kind and helpful during my consultation. “I’ve waited a while to write this review. I had LASIK in July of 2025 so it’s almost been a year, and I still find myself marvelling at what a miracle it has been for me. Before LASIK, my prescription was like -8.00 in both eyes, so it wasn’t exactly minor, and at my last checkup I am seeing perfectly when using both eyes, with only a very minor prescription (-0.5) in one eye. I haven’t had any problems or complications from the procedure, not even dry eyes, in fact I think my eyes were drier before I had LASIK from constant contact lens wear. Overall in terms of the outcome, I honestly couldn’t be happier. In terms of my experience at the clinic, I also couldn’t be happier. Dr. Johnson was awesome and all the staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant at every step from consultation, to procedure, and checkups. Everyone was open when I had questions or concerns, everything was explained to me throughly, and nobody was pushy at my consult. I did financing and was guided through that as well with no problems. And finally in terms of the procedure itself, it went very smoothly and didn’t hurt at all. I did get a little scared when it started though, so one of the female staff in the room held my hands and reassured me, which was really nice and made me feel less scared, so thank you so much for that 😭💛 The schedule they provide you for the post-operative eyedrops keeps you on track and recovery was a breeze. I went home and took a nap after, and when I woke up I was already seeing clearly. Overall, I highly recommend coming here if you’re thinking about LASIK. I am so grateful for my clear vision. I love opening my eyes in the morning and just being able to see right away without fumbling for my glasses. I never have to worry about losing a contact lens while out and about, and no more long days with contacts in resulting in dry uncomfortable eyes. I’ve had myopia since I was a kid and it’s just awesome to now experience life without depending on glasses or contacts. LASIK has genuinely been life changing in the best way!”Read moreShow less

“Amazing experience, I wish I did this years ago!! I honestly had the best and most seamless experience with the LASIK MD London location. Everyone was so nice and friendly and helpful, the clinic was clean and well organized. They made me feel confident by answering all my questions very thoroughly, and the procedure itself was so fast and painless. “Staff were very kind. Doctor communicated very well throughout the procedure. The procedure was quick and relatively painless. Maybe a bit of discomfort and felt some pressure. Healing was exactly as they described. The first few hours were a bit uncomfortable but was relieved by sleeping a lot. Not much else to say, it's a clean place with a nice little bathroom and cold or hot water as needed. They were very quick throughout the process. There was some waiting between tests and stuff but everything went very smoothly. I'd say we were there for about 3 hours in total. There is parking around back in a 4 story parking garage. I think it was $14 or $16 in total to park for the day. It's in a mall of sorts and they have some shawarma and taco there if you get hungry.”Read moreShow less

“This was one of the best decisions I have made that impacted my body in such a positive way! All the staff are professional and knowledgeable. They answered all the questions I had and made sure I was happy and confident before going in for the treatment. The day of the surgery everything was on time and just as I was prepared for, no surprises. Dr. Johnson was next level cool, calm and collected. Surgery took literally minutes with no pain at all. I was staying at a local hotel so I went there to sleep after the procedure. About 2 hours later I woke up with some mild discomfort that was resolved with the drops provided. Went back to sleep for about another 2 hours and woke up able to see better than 20/20! Felt great, so i took my wife out for dinner to Papi’s to celebrate same day! This honestly felt like a magical day, but it’s just science that has been perfected. “I was in last Friday for my procedure. I was very impressed from the start. Each step from pre-consultation to final procedure was well organized and executed. Every staff seems like they genuinely like working there. They were honest that it was going to feel uncomfortable a few hours after. But waking up the next morning and being able to see was an amazing feeling. One small criticism, maybe for some people it would matter. I found the explanations as to why the costs are set the way they are to be on the vague side however, I was prepared to pay what I did. I recommend not being afraid to ask a lot of questions, All staff involved seemed knowledgeable and willing to answer questions.”Read moreShow less
